It's always seemed obvious pw is just some loosely connected person, most likely a casino dealer who deals to HS regs from time to time, who just uses tiny tidbits of truth mixed in with a bunch of secondhand gossip as well as a whole heap of outrageous bull****.
He most likely suffers from mythomania or something similar (he pretty much agreed to this in his confession thread). It's kinda sad, but also entertaining to a lot of people so idk.

No, PW was pretty clearly being facetious in the "confession" thread but it is funny that someone would read that and think it is a serious confession.

He is legend because he provides what people who come to NVG want to read. If it is a troll, it is a troll close enough to the truth to still be interesting and credible.

As for Ben Lamb, don't really know the guy. He is a tournament player mostly. Phil Helmuth says he plays in the biggest cash games in the world but, Phil"s idea of a big game is not the same as a real high stakes cash game player. I've never seen Ben play in Bobbys room and Phil would not play if his life depended on it or gun to his head. Phil only plays in recreational cash games that he is rented out for like for entertainment and occasionally a low cash game in Aria where he fakes it about a hour and plays tight so he can get his free room but, other then Phil saying this about Ben, I dunno..

This. Some stuff he says seems plausible and interesting but as someone who actually plays poker a decent amount at higher stakes, there's other stuff I know is just BS and am too lazy to point out.

Hellmuth is obviously playing nosebleeds in WSOP. You start with 50 thousand DOLLARS in chips, and if you make it past day 6, you are playing million DOLLAR pot every hand. Cant get higher than that.

Back to the thread, posting 10 times a day how happy you are with your significant other is either some next level GTO relationship wizardness or they fake as ****.
