I'm sure there's some history... but anyway, Gus is playing with OMGClayAiken, Trex313, Ozzy 87, and John Juanda on a $500/$1000 HA table so... clearly he'll still play with Phil.

...and ouch, as I type this, Gus just lost a $35K pot to trex313

He's playing trex313 at his HU table... so probably he just wanted to play someone else heads up for variety or what have you.

Trex313 seems to be working him in the HU game too...

So why don't FT just add some non-Gus PLO 500/1000 tables, as all of the high stakes regs want them? What's the downside for them? Don't get it.

assuming the rake is the same:

it would take longer for you to lose all your money at lower stakes, thus bringing in more rake to FT.

if we played HU for rolls at .5-1 it would take 85,000 hands

if we flipped for rolls at 25/50 it would take like 4-5 hands and be way less rake.

I doubt HSPLO and HSNL bring in that much rake. I think they should just open up bigger games, but who knows why they do what they do.
