When Isi first came up in like late 2009, I think I saw a bunch of posts from that time saying he was unbelievably sick at HUNL but was donating at PLO (relative to the lineups he was playing in lolgameselection) and a huge dog. Now it looks like he pretty much primarily plays PLO, has his game improved a very large amount from that time, or were the 2011 PLO stars games just a lot softer than the ftp games from back then or does he just not care about/get no action in NL and just like playing PLO now?

Bcos he only gets called by a hand that beats him maybe?

I think that a) he finds it easier to get action in plo and b) he just enjoys plo more because it's way more GGGGGAAAAMMMMMBBBBOOOOOLLLLL

The other day he was sat down in a hu nlhe game with, if I remember correctly, altifc, but he left after just a few hands to play plo. I think it just comes down to that he enjoys plo more, which I think lots of people can relate to. I imagine that he could get action vs guys like altifc or kanu7 if he really wanted to play some headsup no-limit. Smaller player pool so he probably can't be bothered waiting around for them or negotiating times to play whereas with plo he can just log in at any time and find someone to play 50/100 or 100/200 within a few minutes


As for his results vastly improving, I think its almost primarily because his skills have improved rather than the games being softer. On stars he has been playing against skjervoy, pepperonif, jeans89, galfond, hastings, ziigmund, ronnyr etc., very tough lineups.
