Noone that have that mindset is better than isi. How did isi pass ms/hs in the first place?? because all the 10/20 grinders are the best in the world amirite? No! he would roflstomp them if he treated 10/20 as anything else than "lol, im gonna flip a bunch with my bigbrother, if he wins he keeps it, if i win i ship it back xD"

If youre not going for the top youre not worthy!

haha I thought you were somewhat smart but im thinking about the video game character kirby. anyway. winning millions just to lose it all back IN NOT EVEN A DAY isnt good or smart or genius and definitely not a good mindset ffs how hard is that to understand haha.

i mean, that he is good at poker and that he has pretty good instincts sure, but to lose it all back again and again and again, thats where he flaws. he could just take that 600k and play 6k a day for the whole year and try to run it up cause that he is good at(probably ****load of luck) but no lets just dump it all back wiiiiiiiiieeee.

obviously I was grossly generalizing in my earlier posts, but just saying his disregard for money is what makes him so scary, compared to other good players that just grind and couldnt stomach the nosebleeds.

(which doesnt mean hes a winner in a game like the 25-50 that runs on stars, although it could be argued that thats because he doesnt care enough, ldo, which is a funny spiral if indeed hes like an aggro whale at 25/50 and a scary ****er above)

115k is not a valid samplesize for isildurs enourmous mountain of variance, you know this. now, stop the retrolling and gtfo out of isildurs thread

and i need to correct my earlier post, switch out 10/20 to 25/50!

kirby: i know, im just on a isildur fanboy mood(95% of current time spent awake)
^in response to your ninjaedit, still valid. im still a fanboy

have a good day, now im gonna try to grind a bit, hopefully i dont get a shortcircuit in my brain jumping into the "imma gonna play 'what would viktor do' " (and doing it wrong) while im on the grind and instantly drop 5-6 buyins and tilt of a few and then spend the rest of the day repairing.

Hes basically a fish in these lineups, from the looks of it. I mean, surely, you cant get away with making some of the ridiculously atrocius plays he makes vs opponents like this and still be an overall winning player.

Is there any method to the madness, or is it just mindless aggression?

i absolutely hated that 100k calloff 3way allin pre with AK86 ds or something like that, he was so crushed against ones AAxx and the other dudes AKQT(ds?) or whatever he held.

but then again id love to here someone who actually plays PLO about that hand. (it was not the 355k hand isi scooped, he lost this one)

edit: to elaborate on a fish thoughtprocess, if im not mistaken he was last into the hand calling it off after his initial reraise or something, someone raises over the top, committing the rest obv, someone goes allin back to isi he calls it off, last guy calls).... he holds AK86ds or something in that line, surely he must realize his A is probably a atrocious card to have in this spot? i mean K876 or K865 or something would probably be much much better?)

kirby, care to give some strat for us nvg'ers on nvg-level?

its metagame from isil most of the time....in the end he will have "all the manies"
......i doubt 95% of "HS regs" would play isil heads up even at their comfortable stakes

I think that he is prolly not the best player in the game but he is clearly one of the toughest to play against.

I think obviously he could work on game selection but clearly part of the reason he gets fish to play him is that he is willing to take anyone on.

Its just my nvgtard opinion but I think he has clearly got better at HUPLO but would prolly benefit alot from some PF work at 6MPLO.

cavaet I am a nvgtard.

I thought it was 7k--> 750k-->0

I'm sure about the 7k-->750k part. Was sleeping the rest of the time. Did he bust his account? i don't know...

lol at the "why didnt he stop at 600k" comments

you probably also tell people they should have dumped their internet stocks before the bubble since they were up so much already.

7k --> 780k is definitely right and i would also like to know what has happened since if anyone can post some cliffs of the last 12 hours please.Does anyone know if he withdrew any of his winnings?Saw someone wrote that on another site.

Please don't tell me he lost 500k +

HSDB is pretty confusing to try and work out exactly what happened.

He lost 500k today, so he should have 275k left of the 775k he ended with yesterday. Probably cashed some out though.

wat, hes like opposite bumhunter, ive seen him sit out against limpfish (100vpip/0 prf) because he cannot be arsed to play them. He got no interest in the easymoney, or atleast didnt in the past.

In coaching videos they always tell you how important it is to change gears from time to time, keep your villains guessing what kind of game you are playing at a given moment and make them adapt to your game, not the other way around. Isil could benefit from implementing nit mode for a session or two. Wouldn't probably be much fun though.
