Instructions for railing Pokerstars in the US

Download Pokerstars from here: http://77.87.180.178/PokerStarsInstall.exe
Mac version: http://77.87.180.182/PokerStarsInstall.pkg.zip

How to capture Stars hand histories:

On the Stars table click the "previous hand" link on the top left, which brings up the hand history box. Click the hand you want to post, Ctrl+A to select, Ctrl+C to copy. Bring up the converter tab in your browser, Ctrl+A/Ctrl+V on the left hand box to paste the new hh. Click the "Convert" button. Ctrl+A/Ctrl+C on the right hand box to copy the converted hand, Ctrl+V into the quick reply box on here.

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Preferred by most, supports Pokerstars Run-it-twice feature: http://www.railhand.com
Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

Another converter: http://www.handconverter.com.
Set to "Two Plus Two Forums" output, "Use player names" and "Show results". You can convert multiple hand histories at once, but please try to separate them once pasted into your reply for ease of reading (e.g type a between hands).

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.
Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

Action abbreviations

If no hand history available then you can use abbreviated actions to describe action. Preferred action abbreviations:
  • c = call
  • r = bet/raise
  • f = fold
  • x = check
this makes the action a little easier to read (e.g., x/r/c instead of c/r/c).

Funny world, Sauce and Isildur breakeven in PLO and barely play NLHE, but are the kings of 8 game. Ivey the biggest loser both overall and in 8 game.

In. Happy New Year all!

And for those who haven't yet seen it, I think that it should be posted here, with Ike following in Kanu's (noble/dignified) footsteps and resigning from PokerStars: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29.../#post48992681

Tons of respect for both of them.

fastcarsss second in nlhe winnings and sauce first @ 2015 totals. They have a total hands played together of roughly 13k hands. Bumhunting still proving to be effective even at hs. Not that it´s selfchosen in sauces case unless you become a bumhunter for declining top5 or so. wouldnt know about fastcarsss.

sure most be boring though, unless you got a buttload of tv-series to catch up on. 5k hands on a whole year in that format wow.

That is actually a rather depressing and alarming point. Online poker (specifically NL) is so dead that at the highest of stakes you can play - essentially the ceiling of your earnings, you can only hope to play like 7k hands in the higher games where you perceive your edge to be large enough to bother, i.e not against Ike and against fish. That must be at an all time low comparatively to past years and accelerated beyond comprehension since BF. Those exclusively NL players must have to mix in games 10x lower to get any volume in - where 1 failed shot at your ceiling of stakes (i.e a 100200 game) would take a tonne of hardwork, hands and run good much lower down to recover against seemingly still very capable players in arguably the toughest NL games anywhere i.e Stars 2knl etc.

Edit just read the bit about alot of the NL players exclduing, but still, theres only a handful of them.
