Gus needs to find a fish to get his roll back.

Isil is either 2nd or 3rd worst high stakes PLO player (Guy/Gus).

Definitely not because he can't get action @ PLO
01-03-2013 , 06:35 PM
Oh yeah, I know isil can get action at PLO. Just thought he was working on his PLO game - gues he can work at both (and have fun).

Off topic: Didn't realise Kanu7 was British. I was just thinking the other day that there aren't any decent cash game NL/PLO players who are from the UK.

Not anywhere close to true since like early 2011. He beat the 10k and 20k plo games but ran like **** at 40k yet still is down a very insignificant sum for his volume and stakes when he pretty much only played the best

Now if we're only talking his stupid mindeposit shortstacking, maybe you can start being close to right

gus winning back some vs sallywoo, too bad theyre playing 4x lower than when sallywoo raped gus. (hustle to get ´gus to play higher? hehe)

Is trickett not considered good then?

Meh. As far as I know he's mainly a tournie player. I doubt he could successfully complete vs the top NLHE cash game players. I'm open for a rebuttal...

Well, I don't know how this would hold but Trickett plays the highest stakes in Macao and was a big force in that Partypoker live Big Game back in April, plus he was doing pretty well against the top line-ups in the online cash PLO.

For me still meh. The games in Macao are probably relatively soft compared with playing the online at the highest stakes. Also, it's hard to have an accurate idea of how people are doing and a lot of the information available is basically hearsay.

I don't really know anything about his PLO game.

How bout if Isildur loses the same amount, now, as he did against Hastings back in whatever year it was, then we can say he plays like crap.

Though it was quite odd, that he was killing it in virtually anything except 2-7, last year, but when he gets to play 200/400 deep or against Sauce, we all say that he ran bad (though Sauce would have played pretty well, or Isildur plays crap against Sauce).

Hi Sam. Just kidding (obv).

I don't see much, just a bunch of information on him being beaten-up. What am I missing?
01-03-2013 , 07:27 PM
I still stand by watching that PartyPoker big game VI if you can, Trickett played most of it and despite some swings, was playing pretty darn well.

Oh yeah, also the Aussie Million 2012 cash game, though I don't think its that hard to beat that table if DN and Gus (and a few Macao regulars) was in it.

He's played 110k hands against the toughest lineups online just on stars and full tilt in the last couple of years and won around $500k. I think that's enough to suggest he is at least decent. I mean if your definition of decent only includes people as good as kanu and not players like tjbentham, JP Kelly, vaga_lion, gavz etc. then it's a bit silly because almost all countries wouldn't have anyone decent either.

^ I'll check it out though lolsamplesize etc etc.

I was thinking about only the best players. I'm not disputing that he's a good player just not top 10 NLHE.
