Jamie Gold is so entertaining, it is incredible. It are those players who makes fish sign up at online poker sites / starting up with live poker, because it looks so fun (to bluff) and so successfull and simple.
While I am not a big fan of J. Gold myself, you gotta give him at least this. Also.....I am pretty sure, the $400 will be well spent for a whole day of training. Of course a live NL40k pro does not need to take it, but come on there are much worse 'online pros' with overcharged prices and noone is makeing a big deal out of it.

I'm sure Spielberg or Scorcese are dwarfed by Gold's Hollywood achievements. Sam Simon probably runs rings around Gold in Hollywood and is more known for being the person who motor-boated Tilly's rack years before Laak.

keep on hating but this is the guy that went from being one of the most powerful men in holywood to one of the best poker players in modern day history, $400 for one days education is fantastic value and I'll be signing up to learn from the best.

Anytime you have Sammy and Jamie at the same table it's going to be amazingly fun to watch.

The only part that might be a scam is that he says that he can share his lifetime of experience in a day, which cannot be true, so your statement has a semblance of credence, but apart from that, it is completely accurate.

My guess is that you are just jealous he wins $12 million in a few days through reading abilities and tells, and this is your avenue to release some of the hate.
I've seen the .gifs, i've seen the memes, i've seen the photoshops, but nothing on this forum has made laugh more than this.

I would rather pay the $400 for Tom Vu's waterfall. After getting home, I could look at the waterfall and be at peace.

I have played in the Trop room and it's pretty crappy by Vegas standards. Gold was playing in a $5/$10 game at the time, but that was one of about 3 tables up and running. I thought I heard that room has since been shut down?

Room was still running as of the last poker survey in this month's 2+2 magazine. It is also on their website and given the massive turnover in entertainment going on there, when the trop drops an activity, they're pretty quick to drop it from their website.

What Gold is doing is little different than what Doyle did last year, except that Doyle didn't even bother to talk strategy. He told a couple of stories, then got Mike Caro to go over how to play.

Needed-10 2+2ers to chip in 80 bucks for someone to attend this class with a hidden camera.

No my math isn't wrong. That poor soul deserves 400 for at least sitting there listening to it.

Thank you. Surprisingly, no one has emailed me yet. Must not be a market for staking the man behind the 06 main event.
