Only thing I can see of value is if he can tell you how to win 12 million and somehow lose half of it before you get the money and pay the taxes without eating a shotgun barrel afterwards.

2) lost the minimum vs the loosest person in high stakes poker with KK vs AA.
3) dedicated to being the best bluffer on TV
4) Signed an online deal for 8 figures
5) Had numerous lessons from Jenny Chang, who parlayed a bit part in a movie into worldwide poker fame

keep on hating but this is the guy that went from being one of the most powerful men in holywood to one of the best poker players in modern day history, $400 for one days education is fantastic value and I'll be signing up to learn from the best.

Judging by this thread it seems as if most agree that this offering from the Trop and Jamie Gold is embarrassing to say the least. But it also begs the question of what one is to do when one is afforded opportunities like this that are a result of winning the WSOP. I imagine that Gold has an agent that looks for these sorts of opportunities and when an entity like the Tropicana is willing to pay him whatever amount they are, is he expected to say no? I am guessing that there aren't too many of us who would be willing to turn down such money and would fall guilty of the same thing that most are accusing Gold of in this thread.

I have met and played with Gold on a couple of occasions and although there is only so much one can learn of a man in such a short amount of time, he seems like a nice enough guy. But that shouldn't prohibit him from cashing in on every opportunity before his 15 minutes are up. We're all poker players here; what the hell do we expect of each other any way? At least he's offering your money back.

you guys can hate as much as you want, but Jamie Gold gave us the most entertaining season of High Stakes Poker(S4) and one of the most entertaining ME final tables.
He might not be the best pokerplayer in the World but he may be the best Bluffer (:

No he didn't Sammy did, all Jamie did was beg Sammy not to bet the river when Sammy held AA against Jamie's KK.
