Surely these guys are going to play the main event??! It really wouldn't be the same without them. I wonder how much Ivey stands to lose by stepping away from the cash tables for a couple of days.......

I would have expected him in the 50k PPC but that was a no show too.... Just feels like he should have made SOME effort on the year when he is likely going to be inducted into the HOF.

It seems that at this point he doesn't care much about his legacy. It seems like making all the money is his goal now and the WSOP isn't where you make all the money.

Doyle's said on Twitter it's not fair on his wife. She doesn't go to bed until he's back, playing in WSOP events means late finishes. They're both in their 80's.

I'd think being elected to the Hall of Fame means you've already secured your legacy and don't need to make any effort that you don't feel like making.

Ivey can't play due to lawsuits just like Eli Elezra that scumbag. The body guard that clocked the guy in bobbys room is not Phis bodyguard....he works for the triad dude and is watching the money...look up phils lawsuits in Clark county....he is leaving people on rent and just robbing people...not paying..

David Grey was one of the worst players to watch on HSP EVER! I hope it's not him because that guy just seems like such a wannabe. Obv I don't know him, but I hope privateworld is a bigger player than him.

Ivey is in the UK Supreme Court on Wednesday 12th July to try and gain £7m. I guess he figured he's more likely to get that than to win a 7,000 player tournament.

Neither showed up yesterday. Doyle has a legit excuse (age), I'd love to see Phil care about bracelets like the other Phil does. But it's hard to make someone care when the games they are playing in are so BIG AND JUICY
