Chua: AcAh
Blom: 7c7h

"Sorry, sorry," said a wincing Blom. "Oh, I feel bad now. So sick."

Chua seemed to have a bad feeling about today, though - if you recall he thought he'd lost with kings against sevens earlier when he hadn't - and he took his demise with good grace.

Young Mr. Blom is now our chip leader on around 350,000.

Table of Death - They Just Keep Dying

Posted 1 minute ago by danafish

By the by, the table which is now being ruled by the iron fist of Viktor Blom is in serious contention for the title Table Of Death. It's not that this table has more big names on it than others, but rather that they seem to have lost more players from there than from anywhere else in the room.

As Charles Chua busted out, Jonathan Aguiar sighed, "It's time for another break then," and moved away from the table to play with his phone - Chua's demise had left them six-handed and the dealing paused until another player was found from somewhere. Aguiar told us that he thought two players had busted from that table before he'd arrived, and that he had personally seen nine meet their tournament ends around that accursed felt - we're guessing by the stack sizes that Viktor Blom did more than his fair share of the culling.

"Bring us 10 this time, then maybe this won't keep happening," called over the bored and somewhat frustrated Aguiar to the TD.

We saw Viktor “Isildur1” Blom re-raise from the cut-off and get a call from the initial raiser when the dealer laid out an A-T-T flop. Both players checked through the flop and turn before the raiser checked a third time after a blank turn and river. Blom bet 22,500 and after quickly counting the pot his opponent called.

“Finally,” we thought. “Someone calls an Isildur1 bluff.” But no, Blom showed A-Q and took down the pot to add another 26,000 or so to his 300,000 plus stack. It’s now really unclear who has the chip lead here; him or Ivey. We’ll know for certain at the dinner break but for now let’s just say that they both have a serious amount of glitter.

Aggro yeah, I was railing after his set-over-set hand (so he was 2nd in chips) and was opening a load of pots. Didn't see any huge hands go to showdown, he kept taking them down on the flop and turn. The rest of the table seemed reluctant to get into hands with him. He was quite chatty at the table (maybe 'cause he had a deep stack, mbn) though and I saw him pay £20 ($30 USD) for a coffee.

Also, he is fricking tall, like 6'2" (almost 190cm) and rake-thin. Not even old enough to shave, makes me feel like a pensioner.

A recent count confirms that Viktor Blom is still your current chip leader with precisely 389,300.
