I'm failing to see how that would be more entertaining. Pantling is clockwyze, right? He's a NLHU CAP specialist, right? How's that entertaining? Ivey has shown sick entertainment (from a pure poker perspective, too!) HU before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6pcxtWkmQg

Glad for Gus. One of the most interesting and funny guys in poker.

Barryg1 needs a courtesy doubleup.

or pantling/ivey after the recent HU 500-1k cap nlhe sessions between the two of them....
09-26-2010 , 04:51 PM
sick traffic in NVG over 900 viewer....

I understand you're all Ivey fanboys (me too!) but from "pure poker perspective" I really don't see why Ivey/Blom would be so much better than Pantling/Blom, I have no idea how Pantling plays but if Moonshine says that would be interesting it kinda makes me curious... And it's certainly possible that clockwyze is better HU player with short stacks.

Wouldn't be surprised if these lesser known online hs players kept their online identities secret to avoid giving their opponents any more info than necessary. Sure the identities are gonna leak sooner or later but why give the info voluntarily. Didn't eg. trex313 play at Ivey's table this past WSOP ME without Ivey knowing it (he didn't tell it until he busted or something like that, correct me if I'm wrong).

Urindanger (or one of the dangs anyway) did this with Gus, but I haven't heard about trex-ivey.

How clockwyze flys under the radar is ridiculous. http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=s&n=86384

Beat elky hu in 3 straight in monaco, 2nd in the 6m at wsope this year, 3rd in irish open. high stakes online.... and he's a massive leader in this.

blom stomped durrrrr for one week and then pumped ivey, antonius and hastings back up. ivey/blom/clock would be a helluva final table.

Change of plan - full 6 level days or it could be super-long tomorrow. If they get to two tables (18) will probably end there, though.

Timoshenko eliminated

David Peters raised to 14,000 from late-middle position and then Yevgeniy Timoshenko moved all in from the button for about 135,000. The two blinds folded and then quickly the word "Call" was muttered from Peters' mouth as he rolled over the {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

"Wow," was all that Timoshenko could mutter with the {K-Spades}{10-Spades} in his hand.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and Timoshenko exited the tournament area as he was eliminated. Peters moved to about 730,000.

I remember hearing about that but it's a different case... Urindanger was asking Gus for an autograph and took a picture with him (without Gus knowing who he is at the time)
