I feel very sad about this as I was under the impression he was a nice guy. I think he has enough money to pay all of us what we are owed though.

a lot of peoples personal accounts of him lead to him playing with practically no bankroll management at high lvl plo games that arguably he might not have an edge in, aswell as other degen habits /carelessness and if he had all this money why would he keep borrowing from people / snap deactivated his facebook when people didn't take kindly to his responses shifting blame / same sob story that he wants to get things right that he posted when he was outed on reddit a year ago or so

[NB I ain't a lawyer] This is typically a civil matter for the small claims court [many countries have such], but small claims for debts are not workable/enforceable across most borders. Also these courts don't handle complex cases where proof of jurisdiction issues arise.

I think your best option is to join the facebook group that's specifically about this matter. They have some ideas about getting 'justice' one way or another...

Learned about this thread today from a friend - both of us met/seen Shak for the first time in Prague in December, and I'm kinda shocked about all of this... Hope everyone gets paid back in full etc...

Guy was gambling for heaps (blackjack/roulette etc), was sure he was just a rich kid who won a milly :\

Any talk of violence and murder towards anyone in this day and age is disgusting no matter what they have done. These matters should be left to the people who have been wronged to collectively group together and take it through legal means.

Honestly violence seems like the perfect solution! No chance he has money to repay, the government won't care and certainly won't help, taking him to court won't do anything. Why not rough him up a bit? It'd be pretty hard to make the case that he doesn't deserve it!
