ISPT are adding money to the Irish Open, 2.4k as €300 tickets to what he called "satellites to ISPT" but I'm going to guess are technically "Day 1s" if you ask marketing?

Not even DTD would drum up enough runners to make a €1m guarantee for first let alone giving any money to the rest of the field.

When they say guarantee it means nothing as they are untrustworthy.

I would be surprised if this took place as they will cancel it if they will lose money on it and I imagine all entrants will lose their money.

That's an unreasonable jump imo. There's nothing at this stage to suggest that the organisers are scammers, they're just incompetent!

Re: International Stadiums Poker Tour, Wembley May 31-June 6, 2013, prize pool approx. €10,000,

hey guys , i would like to quote Mr. Prosper Masquelier , co founder of ISPT. Here , his reaction to the PPT Finale table cheating video scandal . ( remember he is from the family of Mr Partouche ...)

translation : " Jack and 7 i scratch my balls , Ten and queen i touch my toe. Finally you can see that some people have nothing to do , like this Mr. Bouya but a least we talk about him "

note: Mr bouya is the dude who made the video and did put it on YT.

I think every poker player can see how much he cares about rules and respect for the poker community.

Oh and btw , last news just arrived

long story short , this means that Patrick Partouche aka Paiterpan1 ( both security headchief and ceo of partouche ) played on his own poker room under alias with free tickets and bonuses. Arjel , the police for internet gambling in france are under investigations. Many accounts are suspected. ( mostly family and members of partouche teamwork ) Here is the last account on the list:

Prosper Masquelier « masquerage ».

^^ That's worthy of it's own thread.

Going back to the ISPT tweets, I love how they literally claimed that their tournament director wasn't a reliable source of information.

Wait. According to the results page, only five players so far have >50k in chips. Surely it would be better to just make this a straight satellite so every qualifier is guaranteed not to be a potential short stack from the get go? :/

Hi all,

I'm Community Manager for ISPT. I'm here to answer about all your questions.
First, just to be clear, the Main Event is programmed to happen on the Wembley turf. Therefore, we hereby confirm that the tournament will happen ON the Wembley pitch and not in the Stadium’s Conference Center.

Thanks,

S.

Is there a guaranteed prize pool?
What are the starting stacks/blinds for players who buy in directly to day 2?
What are the contingency plans in the event of rain?

If you are indeed a rep of ISPT, how about you start by listing everything that is decided at this stage (structure, prizes, guarantees, logistics etc) because things have changed so much that most of us have lost track? For example, the information about the conference centre came from your operations contractor.

1°) There is no guaranteed prize pool

2°) Starting stacks are 50k for players who buyin directly to Day 2. Starting blinds are 100/200.
http://www.ispt.com/en/program/course/

3°) Don't worry, everything is planned in case of rain.

Re: International Stadiums Poker Tour, Wembley May 31-June 6, 2013, prize pool approx. €10,000,

1) At the current rate of qualifiers you'll be looking at around 100 players going into Day 2. Will you still bother with the tournament in this case?
1b) If you do only get 100 players to Day 2, will you consider the tournament a success or a failure?
2) Why have you now got 3+ accounts on 2+2?
3) Given what an absolute mess you and your company have made of this why do you still have a job?
4) Why did ISPT remove the $30m guarantee? Or the €20m guarantee?

Actually, the UK version of the website does not say where we can play.

1°) We still bother with the tournament whatever the numbers of players.
Obv that will consider the tournament as a failure if we get only 100 players for Day2, but don't worry, we are expecting a lot of players for next Days 1 and Day 2.

2°) My predecessors had the good idea to don't give me their account ...

3°) I'm here to erase this "absolute mess". Our tournament is already started. It's time for us to bring real answers.

4°) That's was a missunderstanding too, we never talk about guaranteed prizepool. It always was an estimation.

This is an absolute lie. There's no misunderstanding whatever, there's a lot of forensic evidence (youtube and the cache of ispt.com) indicating that both a $30m guarantee and a €20m guarantee existed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qm0B4gPrP1A - original advert with $30m guarantee clearly advertised.

If you're going to come on here to repair the damage done by your predecessors you can start by not outright lying like them.

Haven´t ISPT just added a disclaimer to their web site to state that nothing published on the site can be relied upon?

They can be modified or updated in a days notice. The International Stadiums Poker Tour´s shall not be liable for any damages of any nature whatsoever, direct or indirect, or any omission or error on the Site

Source is Club Poker (dot) net forum (doubt if I can post links on my first message).

Look for #416 on the International Stadiums Poker Tour thread where they are also discussing the possibility that some players who participated in the ISPT Day 1As were given free tickets (how else did Partouche.be run on Sunday) and are giving Prosper Masquelier a justified kick in the cajones.
