I've said enough about the viability of this tournament and the ethics of the people involved, but could you not have a f***ing video autoplay when your site loads? That's just obnoxious.

Re: International Stadiums Poker Tour, Wembley May 31-June 6, 2013, prize pool approx. €20,000,

It doesn't specify what the price is for rebuys or add ons. In a usual tournament, rebuys would be without rake so $400ish. Unless it is a re-entry, than the full $600 would be needed to resume.

They said somewhere that both the initial buy in and the rebuy are 600 but only the initial buy in is raked.

It's only a small issue in the grand scheme of things but Wembley doesn't have a retractable roof. Obviously they might have everything covered etc. but then this is at the expense of ISPT so that will add to the cost of everything aswell.

It does, but it only covers the seats

Correct, I was presuming the field area will be the main "hub" and that's where things could go wrong :/

The stands arent for spectators - theres 2 packages if you pay more you get to play live if you play less you play via the screen in the stadium

hard to tell what's the actual plan, but in an interview some ispt marketing chief said, that if it rains, they won't play on the field and the 'live game' part is in the vip rooms and other areas

Rather telling that Stephen has seemingly wiped his hands of this thread (he's posting away in the Irish Winter Open thread which he's TD for (I think))

Carfax, if you're still out there, please post the information about the planned payout structure, both in terms of the % of total entrants that will make the money, and the planned min-cash amount. If that hasn't yet been determined, I would suggest pushing for that to be discussed and made public, because it is important to have lots of eyes on that plan to ensure that it's fair/doesn't screw those who start from Day 1/doesn't reward those who direct buy-in to Day 3.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the video of the ISPT press conference, in which Laurent Tapie is shown guaranteeing the 20m prizepool, has been removed from YouTube.

The guarantee has also been removed from the event description on the Wembley website.

that's what they want you to think, Tapie et al gateaway plans have already been made i'm sure...

they have been doing a lot of 'sponsored' articles on all the big news sites, the latest articles on Pokernews all have *sponsored article* at the bottom

also, I saw a banner on Hendon Mob, advertising that the 20 million "guarantee" was spread over 30 events, but this seemed to disappear after a couple of days, did anyone else see this?

- how much do you think they are getting paid?

If this even happens , which is doubtful , it's gonna be the biggest fail in poker history.

I think it will run. It will just be much more like a standard poker festival than the huge crazy idea they first came up with.

Bump in case anyone has anything new to add. I'm still curious what the planned payout structure will look like.

Talking Re: International Stadiums Poker Tour, Wembley May 31-June 6, 2013, prize pool approx. 20,000,

hmmm .. wow ... an actual update from the ISPT ^^

so now they have 6 Day 1s online ... but not in the stadium .. at home!

300 Tournaments in February, March, April an May at Partouche, Netbet, Poker770 and Lock

Source: http://www.ispt.com/en/program/grid/

Day 2 (the actual live event) is at wembley

you can buyin directly for 2.700 +300 (rake lowered obv ^^), i didn't find anything about the rake for the 300 satellites, errr, Day 1 tournaments

Lock promotes the ISPT still with '10 million estimated' but at the ispt website there is no such estimation

so basically we have a random 3k poker tournament, which is played somewhere in the vip rooms of the wembley stadium (based on the PR guy who gave an interview w/ pokerstrategy).

you can qualify online which is just branded 'play day 1 at home' (lmao)

there are also 9 side events, starting with 300+30 up to 1.850+150 as well as a 10.000+900 high roller
