If you make it a free entrance for people + have good food + some entertainment (dunno how) it could work.. I guess? I think whatever entertainment they have would just bother the players.

That would be fun to have one part of the stadium, I suppose near one of the goals, for live music either the whole time or on break of after the tourny or something.

Couple of points.

i) The FA Cup final is scheduled for May 5. There is no clash.
ii) They're not expecting 80,000 spectators. I presume they choose Wembley because it's huge and could fit a bunch of tables and thousands of people on the pitch, and playing at Wembley is much much cooler than playing in some conference hall.

lol sorry. Nothing would suprise me with the type of things people do.

A group in Sydney a few years ago, tried to run a 1 million gtd tournament with a 10K buyin that was going to be self dealt at a big areana type venue.
