If you hadn't posted, that thread would have made its way to page 2 pretty soon with nobody really caring.

Glad that NVG lost the books prt. Can a MOD move this to books where it belongs?

And what is your problem?

I hope you understand that if it wasn't for our publishing company this website wouldn't exist. Also, these are very good books and many people on here have already benefited from them, and others can benefit from them in the future.

Didn't you sell the site? So at this point, that's not true anymore.

This is one of my favourite poker books, and i havent played more than 50k fixed limit hands lifetime. My only issue with it (which has also been the case with several other 2plus2 books) is the paper it is made of. It is hard as rock, and very uncomfortable to read. I have to almost break the book to be able to properly open it. I suppose this makes them more durable, but personally not a fan.

Again though, incredible book. Possibly the best 2+2 book ever made.

And you need to grow up and take your insults someplace else.

I don't have any issues. But again, I suggest you take your insults some place else.

We are fine with this thread being in NVG because Mason Malmuth is the founder of this website. I reopened this thread.

Hi Andril:

Thank-you. If you notice, my OP is just a link to a thread in the Books and Publications Forum where I have much more information including an excerpt from the book which should be beneficial to many readers on 2+2.

Best wishes,
Mason

Hi King:

We did change the paper after this book was originally published.

Also, these new versions of our books are now being printed by Amazon and the paper they use doesn't have this issue.

I also agree that this is a great book.

Best wishes,
Mason

Actually, the stiffness wasn't really the paper but how the glue was applied. We were having problems with people in book stores, particularly Borders, who would take one of our books off the shelf and then look at it. But when they were done, the book would often be shoved back on the shelf when it was still partly opened and it would get damaged. Once this happened, the book would be sent back to us as a book return where we would not only lose the printing cost of the book but would have to pay for shipping as well. So, we went to our printer and told them we needed our books to quickly snap shut to avoid this problem. The fix worked, but we did get complaints about our books being too stiff.

Best wishes,
Mason

Thanks a lot for your kind words. Earlier in the year I was thinking about doing a 10 year anniversary prize draw or something but it got away from me. This is the first book to look at computer strategies in a commercial poker format... and look what has happened since then!

The book never sold big, but I like the fact that many of the people who did buy it enjoyed it. Many of these people are extremely successful at poker, but I of course can't make any causal claims.
