Should eliminate the possibility of using solved preflop sims on most common spots and flops, since there are no longer "common spots" (e.g. BTN v CO open when it has been folded to you).

Would love to see Stars try something like this as well. I thought their experiments with Fusion etc. were awesome, and it's a shame it didn't pick up. Maybe it was too different of a game, and randomized blind structure meets regular NLHE kinda halfway.

So everybody saying that RTA wasnt an issue at stars was clearly wrong.

Random average 100nl and mtt player becomes a world class crusher overnight and gets up to the highest stakes on stars in a short period of time, but was only caught because his roommates (well done to them!) reported him.

It makes you wonder how many other guys there are out there like him. I suspect that a lot of them are cheating in much less obvious ways than this, perhaps not following solver advice so strictly and not instantly moving up stakes as bankroll allows.

What hope have we got if this guy got away with it so successfully, only to be caught out by his roommates? Stars /GG really should have been demanding at least a full room view video of him grinding a very long time ago.

I'm guessing that this kind of setup probably isn't even close to being the most advanced. You would think someone would combine solver outcomes with real time adjustments based on opponent player stats.

When large sums of money are involved assume your opponents will do anything possible to extract it from you.... anything.

I guess that evolution will come but at the moment if a player has access to RTA and then is also using their own ability to adjust based on game flow, stats it is already being done just not by the machine.

Poker has always been strange in this regard. Despite the massive amounts of money involved, there are no real repercussions for cheating and defrauding people. You can cheat your way to millions online and if you get caught then it really is no big deal. When you have that kind of upside versus very little downside you are always going to attract people to give it go.

I would say it is safe to say there are quite a few versions of the tool out there and in use by various groups.

Looking at it there really isn't much to making this. I am a Software developer and it looks extremely easy. It seems you might not even need to do the part of running the sims and putting the database together. It looks like some sites out there already provide an API to fetch precomputed solutions.
