Pull some of the cocktail waitresses from in the main casino and have them serve the WSOP in their usual Rio cocktail waitress uniforms. </thread>

On a serious note:

1. Better playing cards.

2. Better game security.

3. Better/cheaper food in the poker kitchen.

4. Don't close the valet in the late afternoon/evening.

The organizers can spend a lot of money to make it a fun experience because the fans are the customers. Fans will happily spend money on tickets, merchandise and food.

Poker is weird in that the players are the customers and there aren't really fans. WSOP still has to squeeze them for as much money as possible, even though most of them consider it work.
Absolutely. I'm still unsure of whether Dreyfus actually believes what he says or whether he just the biggest troll ever. How he got control of the POY is beyond me.

He is actually doing more damage than good. The sooner the WSOP wake up, the better.

The plain fact that All American Dave has managed to make a business out of it shows that the food options are awful. Casual players don't use him because they can't commit to a meal plan.

If the poor quality of the poker kitchen stays as is, it should be subsidised from the rake, like it used to be.

All American Dave is also too expensive for most grinders, mid stakes pros and rec players, especially without using a package. It's an awesome idea/service though.

Indeed. If the poker kitchen served half decent food, they could get away with employing future hookers to deliver food too.

Wsop should get a sponsor like draftkings to add money to the prize pool. Maybe something like every tournament entrant that registers for first time on draftkings they add something to prize pool.

Have a stream for certain pros during their tournament run. Use RFID at the pros table. There's got to be some value for example following somebody like Phil Ivey during their tournament run no matter how short it is. Put it on ESPN3. Don't show anyone else's cards at table.

Definitely better food at poker kitchen.

Money added or rake reduced would be great but it'll never happen. That money is and always will go straight to the WSOP. Our best hope is that more player sponsorships return and that the WSOP uses any additional revenue at least in some small part to maintain/improve the product.

Like, if you're going to take money from Modiano, make sure the cards aren't paper mache with the clubs and spades looking alike.

true but 60 individuals vs 50k+ feilds during this time, 600 braclets per decade but 500,000+ loser per decade as well... I have no problem with the number of events hell add more, one issue that needs to be addressed is top heavy prize pools....for the online championship braclet 1st was 200K and 9th was 11k out of 1000 entrants WTF is that all about

Here's another idea... A $1,500 invitational at the end of the WSOP called the Last Chance, or something along those lines... It's for the top point-getters in $1K - $3K events and anyone who final tabled one of those. The fields are so huge it's very hard to go bracelet hunting in NLHE, and this would give people who had close calls a shot in a smaller field. It would also be good for the WSOP and ESPN (or any future TV partners), because it would give some of the young up and coming future stars of the game a chance at more bracelets earlier in their careers, thus making them more marketable later.

On that note, they need some flexible broadcasting of final tables. There are a few every year that should totally be on TV, but don't make it because they only do the Main now. They don't want to just pick Event X and televise it and risk getting a lousy final table, but they can't, for whatever reason, be flexible and wait for a good one... They should work on finding a way to do that. The PLHE event, for example, had a stacked final table if I recall. That would've made for good TV.

I agree whole heartedly, but look at the uproar over the Colossus.

For the same reason Jack and Betty never charged vig on the 10K event between the years 1970-2002. That reason would suffice.

Now this is a fantastic idea, apart from it having a buyin. It should be a tournament (of lower buy in) champions. Far more interesting than the circuit championship. It might even get the likes of Negreanu to play those events again.

Live Stream the main event FFS.
Maybe a new venue on the strip so as to attract members of the public that will spew a few $ on cash games.
And its about time the guys that play the wsop got something back, weather thats a last chance event or added money in the main or maybe a PARTY at the end of the wsop with free entry & for every $1k u spent on MTT's u get a free drink, throw in some showgirls & fireworks, a few Decent DJ's & PARTYYYYYY!!!!!

1) Girls with big titties multiple times on espn and on the floor of the Rio serving drinks.

2) Bring day 1 back on espn. Starting the show on day 3 with stalling grinders is horrible tv. I want some day 1 level 1 fish antics. The day 1 chipleader is always a pleasure to watch crash and burn.

3) Gabe Kaplan and AJ Benza

An episode on ESPN showing the build up to the series. Setting up the rooms, main stage, dealer hiring etc.

Mega satellites should give a bonus to the chipleader. As currently run its a complete collusion fest that isn't properly supervised and I don't think the tourneys should even be allowed to run if something isn't done.

2 straight years I have encountered absolutely ridiculous unethical play, with nothing being done about it. A bonus to the chipleader could solve a lot of the problems IMO
