Money beat the most people there to win the thing w/supersatts, and ran one of the best, well timed bluffs against a consummate pro, and went on to win, he deserved it. So did Raymer who definitely won a load of flips, but played with killer aggression almost always w/decent cards and he crushed the pros he ran into. Gold talked everyone, including many pros into ruining themselves. So stop the crying and dont play the damm event if the idea of the 'dead money' winning bothers you. Fn 1st prize would still be 1mill if only pro's played.

-He was up some 3K buyins at his level, and I dont see many "shots" on that list... pretty good BR mgt imo.
-He had to win at least 3 Satts for that seat and you can bet your ass that last one had some good players in it...
-He gets through over 1K sick players without any crazy chiplead to do it and makes FT
-He dishes out a chunk of change = 4X his lifetime earnings to make deal = class act
