Has anyone ever verified that FullTilt donated money from players to "Aid to Haiti" or Japanese Relief?

I've donated to those causes, but never looked past 'sending funds' to the relief account or playing a charity tournament.

I wouldn't put it past these d-bags to bank that money which players donated for a good cause. Has anyone ever verified the bunk they have claimed to do?

People tend not to think of themselves as scum even when they do things that the rest of the world considers horribly dishonest or evil. In Lederer and Bitar's minds, I'm sure they were just thinking that they were "keeping the company competitive" or running smoothly by creating the phantom money and expected to make it back sooner or later...and they thought of the 10 million dollars they took for themselves each month as their normal and rightful salary.

Therefore, a blatantly evil and difficult-to-self-rationalize move like taking the "Aid to Haiti" money is highly unlikely. They probably did donate it in one way or another.

Thats very true skizer - I doubt they actually gave that money, although we need to see proof that they actually donated the funds from the players to the haiti cause wouldn't surprise me those scumbags didn't donate those funds..

Considering the fact they 'claimed' players funds were safe in a bank account the whole time. They also 'claimed' they would match every dollar donated by a user and send it to these people in need. Considering the company lacked dollars - and lots of them, it wouldn't surprise me if they just *banked* it to feed their own greed and con their players where possible.

Just speculating on the thought of it - but I'm not sure if Red Cross discloses that information of donations by companies however seeing how the whole company was a shamwow, I wouldn't put it past these douches to steal from the kind hearted people that kept their company afloat.

It would disgust me if they scammed me out of money I donated to help people in dire need of it and they should be shot and pissed on for that, but not in that order
