perhaps in the future, high stakes players will be allowed to multi-account but only if they create accompanying new personalities, profiles, screen-names and epic background stories complete with screenshots

Actually he was first, and you both are the losers who tells kids there ain't no Santa Claus on Christmas eve aren't you?
03-02-2011 , 06:45 PM
On a second thought, Haseeb and Jungleman are really good friends and they're the only ones kinda confirming this. So, if it's made up, it makes sense it's those two since Haseeb already wrote in his blog about telling the story of Jungleman, the poker prodigy.

Even if it's made up, it's really cool. Pretty inspirational made up story.

Great idea. Read girah's other posts on 2+2 - he actually offers real strat advice. Seems like the HS regulars don't really do that much anymore (it's crazy to read some of the threads from 4-6 years ago) - maybe they each can create a new avatar/identity and there will be an exponential increase in thoughtful poker advice.

How could he be first if his first post ever on 2+2 came after mine?

I don't think anyone really believed that level, but it's all fair in the levelling war, that's part of the game.

They try to come up with a great level, knowing that it'll have to stand against investigation, which is part of the whole idea; it's what lends credence to the whole concept.

Turns out it was a pretty poorly executed level, given how easy it was to find evidence against it.

Honestly, if you needed that much evidence in the first place, you probably are 10yo and I do feel bad about telling you there is no Jose Macedo.

Funny that Haseeb couldn't let go of his ego and had to write unrealistically well (far from amazingly well, but still, given 2+2 standards...) and by doing so, lower the credibility of the whole thing.

He's like a psychopath, torn between having to remain anonymous for his scheme to work and between his huge ego demanding recognition for his amazing work.

Always thought he was kind of a douche, tbh, especially after the whole Ashman prop bet story, but whatever...

Obvious human weakness is obvious.

Guys, he didn't write this himself He contacted a pro-writer who wrote his story down in perfect english. Trust me, I've talked with Jose for a long time, ie over half a year at least.
03-02-2011 , 07:03 PM
I would usually ignore a stupid "first war" but I clearly was ahead of you when pointing out it looks like Haseeb wrote op.

So two well known HSNL regs made an account in December and started posting hands in HSNL, and then created several gimmick accounts and conspired with other HSNL regs to add credibility to the story?
