I'm European. And I surf. And I still find it very weird/strange. There are better places to buy a house if you wanna surf.

And I agree ... there are probably people in Europe that would want to live in Hawaii. But it's definitely weird/strange/not the normal thing to dream about. Especially for a teenager from portugal. That's why I'm curious.

It wouldnt even make a difference if this was a 'level' (which I think it is not). I would still be interested in the answer.

But if you look up my original post you will see that
1) I dont doubt the story
2) I have more questions for girah
3) even if it turns out that this is a huge level ... who cares? I dont.


There are probably people in the US that want to live in Wuppertal too.

Flights to South Africa, Seychelles, Mauritius, Thailand etc. are wayyyyy cheaper than Hawaii. And closer too (less time travelling).

This proves that i´m not from europe, i guess. :/

Ah I missed that. Hawaii has some of the best waves for surfing yes. Valid reason for a surfing fanatic to want to live there.
