It would be nice to do this introduction over. Seeing as the first one got side-tracked. Maybe the second time around people can actually talk about poker and his story.

no really... this guy might exist and it´s pointless to doubt about it just because OP has high english level.

for some reason the story doesn´t fit... OP´s trying to be famous in the poker world.. tho nobody from his country ever heard about him?!? he got cheated for 250k?? are there so many big games in portugal that it could´ve happened without beeing known?!?hmmm

i think this might be some kind of strategy or investment in this kid.

very possible he´s some rich kid beeing helped by somebody to be a poker star and likely investing family money playing poker... that´s why lawyers might be involved or whatever

OP being a "so called "portuguese poker prodigy"" is prob not true...

wow what an incredible story. just reading it is incredibly inspiring. i am sure this thread is going to explode and i am glad to be in during the early stages. i also hope to see you playing either live or on one of the american sites. i am only 19 and it is incredible to me that someone could do this.

i have no doubt that you will continue to improve as a player. i hope that you can remain as down to earth as you seem to be right now, even as you "rocket" through the limits.

there will be times when things go very bad and it is during those times that you need only to ask yourself one question," what did i do to get where i am?" then all you have to do is go back to the basics such as analyzing hands, your game, others games and discussing strategy with those who you deem intelligent and skilled enough.

best of luck to you and perhaps we will cross paths some day.

regards

why cant a player, who has made utter millions, just take the 5 seconds to create their own personal account and then post from it. why do they always take the route of morons and ask their friends, and other users, and then ask their friends to create accounts just to defend them, etc. sigh, millionaires.

Good luck in everything Jose!!!!!

Need to show filter in the HEM results pic/gif

Because I could just filter out the SB, and have winnings like that, post it on 2+2 and get all this attention....

Cool story though.

If this is real, that seems like a terrible, terrible idea, him showing his photo ID to random NVGtards.

Thanx for sharing. Great story!

Criticizing how good his English is for coming from Portugal is absurd. People in the Netherlands speak better English then people in America. English is not the native language there.

I buy the story, seems like a lot of effort and planning ahead for this to be a level. Esp considering you have guys like DOG IS HEAD and Jungleman involved. It would seem like better use of their time if they are you know...playing poker instead of leveling NVG.

cool story bro.

does portugal have an irs?
03-03-2011 , 01:41 AM
hey how about everyone stops worrying about getting leveled for once and just enjoy this nice little story
03-03-2011 , 01:45 AM
So has anyone explained why his lawyers forbade him from posting his screen names, yet allowed him to post his full name?

Or why he wrote an autobiography and failed to mention that he has this nickname that everyone calls him and he even lists as his name on Facebook?

Or why it was requisite of someone to edit/perfect his already allegedly good English when it would obviously bring into question the authenticity of the post?

If your female friend vouches for you it must be true! Way to set things right miss. Although i thought it was legit after reading it, only time will tell to see if he really rises to what he claims he is.
