I can't see that working out well in the long term as most people don't follow their Twitter or use any streaming outside of YouTube.

Why? she's simply an opportunist. This is a shot to do another show with Nick because "Everyone deserves a second chance" or she's gonna get to the bottom of things.

The Kick stuff seems does seem incredibly dumb. Build a 400K sub channel for 3 years, abandon it with no real explanation, lose tons of people who are like "Kick, I don't have/use that. Screw it, I won't watch"

I’m sure the kick move is related to raising money to buyout nick/cash out of a ship that tarnished its reputation. Obviously going to be terrible for the business long term. Viewership absolutely tanks to the point their career is ruined for streamers who switch. They are rumored to give huge contracts though

Its incredibly likely they signed a lucrative contract with kick to advertise stake on the show. The only argument against this is if moving to kick kills their show over the life of the contract if that means they would have made more or less through an extended life of the show on youtube, which nobody here is in a position to speculate.

Streaming platforms other than Twitch often pay out big $ to big channels to get them to come to their site. They're using VC/investor money to do it and the investors tell them to do it because they want to see growth. Mixer, a defunct streaming platform, infamously paid out $5 million to get a CS player (Shroud) to stream exclusively with them, only to shut down a few months later and Shroud pocketed all the money.

I wouldn't call not following YouTube guidelines a random thing especially when you create gambling contents in public video sharing website and get online gambling sponsors and advertising their referral links are a big NO to YouTube .

You-tube Algo caught up with HCL contents and started flagging them and this wont be the end of it i guarantee they will get their 3rd final strike in coming months .

Then END for HCL on YouTube came sometimes ago , Only thing that is happening to them is getting their old live stream contents and clips being removed by the system one by one

Kick will be a great Platform for them especially it's been built and owned by the biggest online gambling giants Stake.com and biggest online slot high roller gambler trainwreckstv .

Also Kick streamers receive 95% of the total revenue from their subscribers compare to Twitch streamers who get only 50% of revenue IF they are in top tiers .
