With all known/alleged details?

I ask since 2 things can be true:

1) The "where there is smoke there is fire" impression that NV is at minimum a loathsome creep. As he is a father of daughters, it is especially shameful.

2) Each accusation/incident needs to be judged discreetly as well (on principles of justice).

We should start a Gofundme for Lauren to get a lawyer and sue the pants off HC. Then we could split the settlement and go play poker at HC.

Remember when a literal rapist played on HCL and no one cared because he was a whale. HCL has always been filled with bottom of the barrel scum. To set up a game with these sorts of characters invited, you have to be a low empathy sleazeball at best, and probably someone who would do criminal stuff themselves if the right opportunity arose. Imagine playing in a game with such disreputable owners and runners.

I mean it's not the worst thing in the world but taking pictures at a funeral all happy is pretty weird- especially when it's with your wife and kids who you see all the time anyway. It's not like it's with some relative you might see every 5 or 10 years.

when ballys bought LATB in the last transaction before it moved to commerce i believe they paid 2 million. My guess is, at this point, they feel they massively over paid. Is HCL worth more now than LATB was then? maybe, but not much. If someone paid over 2 mil for HCL they would be insane. These shows have been on the floor of many casinos including Hawaiian gardens, bellagio, trop, bike, now commerce etc etc... they all figure out they aren't worth much at all to the casino unless you basically have a casino host working tirelessly to convert viewers into customers (hustler has done this well, they have a ton of casino/game hosts). all the money is made from rake. you tube isn't much to live off of after expenses. full disclosure: i have never watched a hustler show or went to thier you tube channel. maybe they have a million subs or something i couldn't imagine

People also say NV ran HCL “like a mafia” and then they’ll go right after that to go play in games that are literally ran by organized crime and they know it. Plenty of people attacking NV act like they’re Paul Phua’s best friend when he’s a triad boss and the triads have pimped beaten and killed more women than all other organized gangs on the planet put together. Adam22 who’s been referenced ITT a few times anyone who played with him from the time of the online era knows he was a drug dealer who sold fake xanax and opiates and laundered the money with online poker.

Ppl want to say I’m NV or NV’s biggest simp really what I don’t like seeing is just the hypocrisy and also the transparent ulterior motives some people have (Garret is an obvious case here). Nick was really out of line and there was maybe even some BS only in California’s overregulated jurisdiction criminal law that he actually broke, I don’t know, innocent until proven guilty on all of this inappropriate words written stuff which is highly subjective, its not like he was beating women, threatening women, kidnapping women whatever where it’s this obvious case. If you’ve played poker long enough you’ve probably played with a pimp who just did all 3 of those things then drove over to the casino. And you probably regularly hang out and act friendly with people who are at the minimum worse than NV in some way.

Let whoever is in poker without worse friends cast the first stone. If you’re a college kid who has only ever played online against complete unknowns in between your ethics and women’s study classes good for you. But if you’re anyone who’s been around in the LA poker world for years or especially around the higher stakes scene for awhile and you’re acting like Nick is the worst person in poker like please give me a break it’s extremely overly performed outrage and you’re not even remotely being honest with who this type of community is made up of.
