So now the side liners are trying to make a big thing of a situation where Garrett under dead threat managed to get his money back from criminals. A situation most people would've avoided and just taken the loss, from the way Garret describes it.

Kagome & PointlessWords how in the hell do you call somebody a scumbag for that?

They were probably not organized crime or tough guys as he blackmailed them successfully , even though they were doing something illegal.
True..

It seems Garrett is a boss at getting his money back either way. On some Reddit post someone was saying he got back 2500 in a 3rd and much smaller incident.

I agree though so maybe Garrett should just rat on them. If they were weak enough to give the money back.

I didn’t call him a scum bag. I said he protects cheaters.

It’s 2p2 etiquette to out a scammer when you find one. There are many cases of people not outting scammers in exchange for payment and they are always ****ing the community so that they can gain relative to their current position. Garrett is no different.

I can’t blame GA for not wanting to speak out.

Im still shocked they gave him money back. Im also shocked robbi gave money back.

I would think you would need to be caught red handed to do such a thing. And even then they don’t need to honor it.
Ah yes, the "you don't want to snitch on these guys" thought process. Except they gave him his money back to keep him quiet. If they were that scary they could just tell him to kick rocks. Also, I've seen how people persist in this industry. People "deserve" violence all the time and get nothing. The "they will break your legs" trope is overplayed and outdated.

Seriously.

I don't understand how people can even have thoughts like, "I bet it was a violent, organized crime outfit and Garrett was too afraid to expose them. But he wasn't afraid to threaten to expose them in a private meeting. And even though they would have offed him had he exposed them, when he merely threatened to do so, they politely refunded his money on an installment plan."

This is ridiculous in itself. But on top of that, if you went around telling everyone they were cheating, it would become riskier for them to harm you. If you have a private meeting with one guy and threaten them, it's less risky for them to harm you.

Lastly, while I have very limited knowledge of big home games, I don't know of much reason to think they are commonly run by violent gangs, though I'm sure that occurs. I've played in a game run by really scary guys in a 3rd world country, but even there, the majority of the games were run by groups like, a club for car enthusiasts.

Garrett makes no mention of organized crime or being intimidated, even though that would be to his benefit.

The simplest explanation is that the story happened as he tells it himself. He sold out his fellow players, allowing them to be cheated in exchange for his own financial gain.

He probably lacks the insight to understand how the story makes him look, but he is the one telling it.

If someone freely and openly tells a negative story about themselves, there's no need to invent some wild scenario involving the mafia to make them the good guy.

if he REALLY thought they'd come kill him if he leaked info then sure. but if they were those kinda guys they'd just not give you the money regardless, why give garret his money back when you know he wouldnt talk anyway

Look at my post #1002..

I literally said he might as well snitch since they gave money back.

"This company was supposed to refund My money of $1000 and have not along with another $3000 for a total of $4000"

Dear ****,

You attended one of our workshops 21 months ago and after that we never heard from you again, so to read this post is such a surprise. There is no record of you attempting to call or email us about you being unhappy with your workshop experience. There is no record of a phone call or email about you trying to redeem your guarantee. How would we know you wanted a refund, without you making a phone call or sending an email? How would we know that you wanted to redeem your guarantee without you notifying us of this request? As the contract and the guarantee reads you have one (1) year to attempt to make the system work. The guarantee spells out the specifics of how that process works, and we have not provided a copy that suggests that we give out an additional $3000.

Upon reviewing your file closely and retrieving your contract, our records indicate that we have not received a payment from you for $1000. In addition our merchant account does not show that we processed an amount for $1000 associated with your name or card that we have on file.

You skipped an entire process by making this post and never giving us the opportunity to resolve your issue is disappointing to say the least. You have used and exhausted all services that were given to you for the one (1) year and to come back almost another year later demanding a refund, seems oddly suspicious. If you've truly received such a guarantee from us that states that after one year (and 9 months) that we would refund you back $1000 plus a guaranteed $3000, then please reach out to us with a copy of that and we will gladly honor that document. If you also have a credit card statement that shows that we processed $1000 for your workshop, please provide a copy of that as well so we make sure that we are all on the same page. We would like to work with you on this matter and look forward to you reaching out to our corporate office at your earliest.

Last night Nick was talking about a hand in progress so much that DGAF called him out live on air. He was trying to make a bet with Chris about what each player had in the hand, basically implying that Mike X had the nuts. Man has no class whatsoever.

It's obvious from these memes that are being spammed to the Garrett Adelstein Report channel (one example above) that there is a disinformation campaign from rival streams (maybe Live at the Bike? Triton Poker? Stones Gambling Hall?)

I want to make people aware of possible shills who are spamming these threads with memes like the example shown above.

Nick V reminds me of one of those preachers. Jim Bakker. Joel Osteen. He was on his twitter the other day claiming his high pressure 50k bus rides were legit. And the BBB fraud claims were from losers who just couldnt succeed even though he gave them all the tools. Shocking the ego and self righteousness on this paul blart mall cop with a spray painted head

I was playing 1/2 today and I saw one-finger positions at least TWO times:

1. The first was when someone hit a gutshot on the river.
2. The second was when someone hit runner-runner flush.

Both times the losing player gave the SAME ONE-FINGER POSITION INTO THE AIR.

One-finger positions are more common in poker than you think.

- Police tried to arrest Bryan back in October. They didn't find him.
- In November, the Los Angeles DA's office filed charges against Bryan
- It's now close to the end of the 2022, and Bryan (who faces two counts of grand theft) still isn't under arrest

I'm just presenting facts. Oh - it's clearly a CONSPIRACY that Bryan hasn't been heard from.

No it's not. LAPD is busy with MORE IMPORTANT THINGS, like keeping Chris Paul out of the LA Clippers locker room.

Your meme is going to look really silly when Bryan turns himself in, at the beginning of 2025.

The reason that Nick V, George, Andy, Gal, Eli, DJ Washburn, Nik Airball, JRB, Eric, Ben, Mike X, etc., are seen making these similar one-finger and two-finger positions at the table is very simple:

Or maybe they are signalling, because he has already been outed on BBB and several other forums for being a scammer. It sure looks like signalling. Next time you are at the table try to find one person holding one finger on their arm like that. It wont happen.

In today's stream Nick Vertucci, with no hint of sarcasm, asked Mariano, "if you don't mind me asking, why do you wait until everyone else has acted before looking at your cards".

Mariano, realising that this is one of the biggest fish questions ever (bearing in mind NV has played hundreds of hours live and co-owns a poker stream),
replies, "Oh, Nick, you know it's just through habit". NV then comes back with (not in a nasty way, more in a pally way), "Well okay but you know it's slowing the game down".

(Words above are not 100% precise but are 100% accurate of what happened.)

This is Lol x 1000 that NV genuinely does not know why some players pre flop wait until everyone in front of them has acted before looking at their own cards.
