depends on how many sessions he's played,

If 2 sessions... hell no
If 60 sessions... hell yes

Linear line of hell no'ness to hell yes'ness between 2 and 60.

Either way, his playing on that is a horrible idea and terrible optics no matter what.

He plays super tight in the splashiest games there are. How would he not make huge profits? Don't need a conspiracy for that.

There def was a session where he ran super bad .. I think it was a Tuesday and there were larger games later in the week that he Nitted the hell out of to get back the losses.

He is super tight, as he should be in these games. The last thing you want is to snap off 'customers' with 69o and then invite them to come back as you walk them to the coffee bar. He may show up in a hand with Luda that way, but their relationship is out in the open.

If there was something going on then he would look the same on Friday night that he does on Tuesday night, and he doesn't. To me, he knows that the 'money is real' but he also knows the skill is 'more' real on Fridays. He lays down more winners than anyone else on the show. I'll amend that to he lays down more marginal decisions than most Players.

Perhaps he's watching film? And has learned from all the lay downs in the past or changed his bet sizing agsinst the 'right' Players to get max value.

As stated above, how many sessions/hours/hands? Anyone can run good .. and when you're VPiP is low then those results will look inflated. GL

he's also one of the few nits allowed in the game cause he runs it. he plays pretty well but he's definitely run bad in a few spots that I don't think someone cheating would run into.

Also picks best seat for himself… always to Chris’s left or some action player. Tends to only play when games good as well it seems (haven’t seen him in a tough Friday game in a while). Lot of stuff happening that’s not technically cheating but pretty bad form from an owner.

It's a terrible look for the game. Especially with the history of cheating in streamed games.

Nobody would play with Leon at King's if he wasn't a huge whale. Every time people bring up the topic of owners/operators playing in their own games, somebody says "but what about Bobby Baldwin!" for which I don't have a good response.

Bobby Baldwin is a relic from another time.

What about Bobby Baldwin? Well, we can be better. Easily.

.. and then I see the YouTube set v set v straight

How did the Dealer hand shuffle (I think) and alert Nick that he should play 56s in that hand? That's some high tech stuff ..

You notice that a couple Players immediately said 'lock down' after he won the hand.

Tough call on whether or not he should play .. do they have a list? Is he just filling a seat? Granted he was a Player long before this venture came along. I've often wondered how things would change if I ever opened my own room.

I would most definitely bet that they draw for seats .. but then again I've never seen Garret in the 4, 5 or 6 at the Hustler either .. maybe the 6 once.

Who knows .. interesting stuff to chat about .. GL

I just don't think he should be allowed to play in those games. That being said, him not losing a session in 2 months doesn't surprise me. Dude is an absolute nit and his competition is whales.

To play Devil’s Advocate, I think Nick has been playing with these same group of guys for year(s), before there was a stream.

Not sure if that should count for anything.

Prob just running hot. To me it looks like he's crapping his pants whenever he's all in for big money, sweating the turn/river cards.

Just to hammer home what others have said…

He’s “allowed” to sit with absolute moronic fish, and play 15% VPIP.
If he wasn’t the owner/known character he’d literally never be invited back. But because he’s guaranteed a seat 3x a week he can sit there and nit it up against players who are “forced” to splash around to get invited back, or just really really really bad players

Winning 95% of your sessions is sketch, but if you let any 2/5 or 5/10 winning player into these games and guarantee him a seat no matter how they play, it’d be the same result.

Feldman literally says to get on the show you have to “bring something” aka social media presence or a 45-50% VPIP and splashiness. That’s the player pool

I really doubt Nick is cheating in these games like some seem to be insinuating, but he does seem to choose good games and great seats in those games.

To avoid even the appearance of impropriety he’d be wise to stay off the streams entirely. But he doesn’t strike me as someone who won’t take every opportunity of EV that comes his way.

His real estate ‘school’ seems shady as **** to me so I’m not a fan of Vertucci’s. Additionally, he comes across as an unbalanced douche online and in several streams (i.e. almost fighting another player on stream). Gross individual.

Agree 1000%

Not only is it a bad look for the game, the guy is a known scammer which imo makes it even worse.

Of course cue Ryan Feldman to come into this thread, vouch for Nick as a man of the highest character and integrity. Definitely waiting for that.

I’ve always thought it should be illegal for anybody involved with show production to be playing. Huge conflict of interest. Sure there are no phones allowed, but he is the only person at the table who was intimately involved with creation of that room - electronics, the table itself , cameras, what’s behind the curtains and built into the tables.

It just looks terrible. I am shocked the gaming commission hasn’t banned him from the games yet.

Hey Nick,
At best, you’re a d*** to your friends for creating these action packed games and then turning around and playing a nut puddling strat. I get that it’s a free country and nobody is forcing them to play on stream.

I know you’re foaming at the mouth, trying yo make an account to reply here.

Im surprised that noone has stated the obvious.

If you understand how these private games work then the only conclusion you end up with is that Nick has a piece of Garrett in the game. I don't buy that Garrett is the only reg allowed on many streams simply because "he's popular". Loads of way more popular players and they never even get called on. It's ridiculously fortunate for Garrett to be in this game with 7 whales.

Nick went from wearing a Garrett's ATM t-shirt to wising up and taking the dudes action to slay his pool of whales.

Of course... I could just be talking nonsense....

I mean for poker streams, Garrett may as well be Tom Dwan. I think he's currently up there with the most popular poker players, for poker players.

Sure my uncle doesn't know him, and knows Hellmuth, but people tune in simply for Garrett for sure.

Also, Garrett isn't selling any pieces
