Not much of a story. Thuritz was his backer, then got out when isildur wanted to play PLO and not NLH, so he made money on the way up but didnt lose money on the way down. Thuritz was always the main Isildur backer in those days (dunno about after that). In those days Isildur was just a different level at HUNLH than anyone else, he was way ahead of his time with his betsizing etc.

Was fun to watch yesterday even without holecards, looking forward to them getting the holecards fixed.

MrFab, 2006 a documentary called "Pokerlandet" aired. Which means it was probably recorded in 2005 or so, and thuritz was on the show playing 100/200 nlhu while being interviewed aswell as being a reg higher already back then, kept interupting him saying "wait wait, might be a big pot" and in those days ppl could punt entire bankrolls to people in a epic hu match, not uncommon to win 30bi+ in a sitting.

My bet on the biggest online winner of all time is PA tho. He was also regging the same games back then and had years of highstakes limit before that. Not to mention the actually tracked 19mil run on FTP on 4 different accounts and so on. PA is a absolute beast and just until a few years ago have shown profits on tracked sites.
