How does senator lincoln spew all this bull**** through her mouth with a straight face. This makes me question everything i hear in politics even more and i will take it all with a grain of salt.

First time I was disappointed by Huckabee. That he would let this woman spew nonsense, agree with her, and not have anyone represent the other side of the argument, was quite disappointing. He's usually a reasonable man.

Couldn't she technically be sued for lying like that? She said that there's no way to geolocate people playing on the sites. That's factually false. I know no one will take the time to go after these clowns but it sure would be funny to see them slammed with lawsuits over all the lies their telling.

It's even more gross to think that some of them aren't even getting paid to say this, they are just really stupid and got convinced by somebody it is correct.

Sounds like writing to Huckabee could be a good action plan. Let him know the segment was disappointing in that it was so one filled with falsehoods and no one from the pro side appearing.

Makes me so angry to hear this crap....talking about protecting families and society when the money behind this comes almost exclusively from those same families they feel the need to "protect" from online gaming. No one seems to mention how many families Adelson's B&M casinos have ruined, or how bad those are for the economy.

Can anyone find this example they've latched onto about a kid racking up $20k in debt on their single mom's credit card? How many single mom's have a $20k limit on their credit card? What gaming provider was this? I doubt it's even real.

I heard about a 2 year old buying a car on ebay on their parent's phone....aren't they going to overthrow ebay now? There aren't even many examples of people destroying their lives, especially when you compare to all the other LEGAL dangers....they just say a college kid "could" rack up debt from their dorm room....

Hi Everyone:

These posts were moved to our News, Views, and Gossip Forum because I just happened to see the Huckabee show and couldn't believe this incredibly inaccurate segment with Blanche Lincoln. So I think our answer is to send emails, tweets, etc. towards Huckabee and his show explaining why much of what was said is just ridiculous.

As an example, I think Lincoln states that some kid gambled away $220,000 on a parent's credit card which to me seems crazy since credit card companies will usually contact you when a bunch of unusual charges appear and aren't most credit cards not possible to use on gambling sites, plus a number of other reasons.

Anyway, I'm hoping TheEngineer can come into this thread and give some guidance as to what we should say and where we should send it. And in the meantime, as kdub72 says in a post above, please keep everything sent out civil.
