Why wouldnt someone who is a ceo of a poker site give him a deal? What has he really achieved that people can point at and say "yeah, i know of that guy" yet here he is on HSL, he has been invited on PAD, he is shown in chip updates and interviewed at the WSOP - g2cu is exactly the right person you are looking for as he is putting his name out there and getting plenty of free publicity (cardplayer had coverage of the bathroom prop for example). Why the hell wouldnt you attach your site to him?
I'd guess that half the reason he was invited to PAD had to with chatter about his stats and online winnings...the other half, maybe cause someone said he'd be competitive and maybe entertaining. But that's a different realm vs. real life interpretation of his overall image.
The CL thing...could be him, could not be him. However, his so-called defense team hasn't addressed it...so who knows?
Getting interviews online is a far cry from getting a pokersite CEO or related business to 'want" you. Comes down to impressions...
G2CU...brash, young, not a lot of substance to what he says, etc.
Any known pro...experienced, humble, outgoing, and is relatable to most players.
Winner.....older pros who know how to play the $$$ game. Any big biz that invests money on him at this point....is burning their cash. If they are, it's also a dying ship that's thinking he'll turn the tide when he won't
Image is everything when buying, selling, & making money!
