Understand, I did not post about whatever role the HPT took regarding some other tour stop at some new casino operating in some other jurisdiction on some other date.
Sure the HPT brand takes a hit if something they associated with and branded suffers some controversy.
Maybe back in yesteryear at New Casino somewhere in the Heartland their role was somehow different than in Nevada, which has regulations that require the Nevada licensee to be responsible for gaming events under its license.

(My former company sponsored live tournaments in unregulated locations like Panama, Costa Rica and the DR yearsago, but also I've helped others structure and run/staff tournaments in Nevada; you never contract away the operator's duty to run something properly on your behalf and by the book and the Nevada operator cannot contract away its own obligations to players.)
