loooool andy makes it 100k in the cutoff and button shoves for 340k and andy takes literally 1-2 minutes before calling with JJ...other dude has aq and flops a q to win...pretty tough decision there for andy with JJ for 7 bbs yawn...this guy is such a clown its so tilting to me that he crushes donkaments...thats essentially a slowroll
as im typing this andy appears to be trying to punt his stack away to ivey...calling a raise out of position and check raising on a board where hes repping literally nothing..9323 rainbow board and he min check raises the turn...river 7 and andy cuts out a bet then decides to check and ivey shows aq for the win...he played this hand way worse then im explaining btw..at least he had the sense to not give ivey the last 250k on the river
Reading this thread from the start, well done to the guy winning the tournament so that the haters heads explode
by the way, threads like this definitely get me fired up to try to play my best and win!! thank you for the added motivation -- i wish you all the very best on the felt and beyond
People aren't just haters about Frankenberger because he's having success. Most of us don't hate Ivey or Durrr and they have way more success. People are hating on him because by all accounts he seems to be pretty terrible at poker yet is running far above expectation.
Not just any random red sox game as well, they were playing the yankees lol. That QQ hand laydown is wow vs timoshenko, hadnt heard about it til now. I guess if you're never all in you can't bust...
Out of curiousity, anyone know what QQ vs a range of 'JJ+ and AK' is?
give him credit for owning Feldman with some Ax hand where the flop is KKTx something and he flats flop and shoves turn. Weird play on most streets there, but worked. anyway was the start to the epic Feldman tears.
I for one find it refreshing with a weird/bizarre, and yes sometimes awful(QQ hand) player on the tv tables
of poker.
He's humble and admits he has a lot to learn, which is scary since his raw instincts are top notch.
Because he plays differently and not predictable he sucks.....ok. If he was a jerk I could see the anger but in every interview he seems humble and nice.
Most of you are truly pathetic and need to grow up.
As much grief as he takes and as much as his natural tendencies tilt me when watching him at the table, it's different when you see him interviewed. He comes across as humble, intelligent, sincere, and he doesn't take himself too seriously while showing an intense dedication to improving his game.

completely unwarranted?
I won't go so far to say i hate him but he does come across as a bit of a jerk

He just lost a ton of chips and others at the table start jumping all over him, while he may have been a bit defensive the other players were way more out of line and should have kept their mouths shut.
Also he explained his reasoning earlier in the thread, it's fine to disagree with it, but he did have some logic behind why he folded.
In no way does he come across as some jerk who thinks he's the best ever.
He admits he makes mistakes, just like 100% of poker players do at times.

You should really do your homework, he had already made it to the final round, it was a weird point system and not a typical NLHE MTT. Do your research.
