live MTT player. How many live MTTs has he entered since 2011. Sort of hard to say his results are unimpressive unless you knew the answer to that.
last time I knew anything about what he was doing, he was in Macau playing cash games. Not the old macau nosebleed game but something like 50/100 or 100/200 iirc. at the Wynn.
Its interesting when known pro player decides to back away from playing, or playing in public eye, the theorists start with... busto.... cant beat the game anymore..... etc etc sometimes people just chose to do other things with their lives.
But yeah, I would suspect that if you compared Chan's thinking around poker strategy to best players today, his thinking would seem dated.
