No I hear ya. Supposedly we are all supposed to yell at cheaters in the hallway. So I was looking for guidance. Seems like grey area, but sort of makes the point that we probably shouldn’t be yelling at people lol

On a side note I thought I saw Rip, but probably wasn’t him as I don’t know what he would be playing.

It's like the people back in the day who wanted everyone to publicly yell at any "Red Name" pro on Full Tilt, when almost all "Red Names" were just paid a fee to play on the site and had zero to do with actually running the business lol.

I’m going to yell at her “sucks WSOP let’s in cheaters!”, that’s the script?

Who’s final judge on whom to yell at and who to cheer for?

The $1500 omaha 8 or better even got 1,143 entrants, way more than any other small buy in non NL holdem event this year. And The 1,143 entrants breaks last year's record by 75 entries. $1500 seven card stud only had 360 entries , $1500 limit holdem only 527 entries. Maybe I never realized it , but is omaha 8 really that much more popular than other limit games ? The popularity seems to be rising as well.

Yes O8 is more popular than stud or limit hold em at the WSOP. Definitely been the trend the last decade or so during the WSOP (if not longer).

At casinos for cash, you're almost never going to find a stud only table (I believe there's one at Sycuan in San Diego where the old timers play like $6/$12 or some small stakes). Maybe on the east coast you can find some stud only tables? As for limit hold em and O8, usually limit hold em will have more tables running but O8 is still pretty popular for cash tables.

You have to think too hard to play stud. O8 is a pretty chill game. And limit HE is too dry.

At Foxwoods. There are 3-4 20/40 stud tables going daily. Sometimes even 150/300. Also 1-5 and 5/10 go quite often

Yeah I knew it was somewhere on the east coast that still had stud games.

Nick Schulman is from East coast and he got his start playing stud. Same with Ivey.

i mean he's right people being able to register, see their table draw or in this case that they're the bb and just unregister is ridiculous.
wsop needs to do just do away with being able to unregister.

edit- if kalas is right about most of the cards being the bb then yea **** that.

Nah late reg ship has sailed, no way they stop that, or should stop it. However, they could dial back a little how many levels you can late reg for, like maybe not have late-reg when it only gets you a 15bb stack and you have an emotional meltdown when seated in the BB, idk lol.

I don’t get it though, even if 5/7 were big blind that aspect is random isn’t it?

Anyhow ridiculous to be able to unregister
