Yeah, kind of a cool thing... giving a nod to a person's past exploits. Sort of like Cal Ripken and Nolan Ryan starting baseball teams, then having the team nickname paying homage to their respective nicknames. So now we have the Aberdeen Iron Birds and the Round Rock Express.

But even if it wasn't a former poker player starting this brewing company, I'd still give this a pass, since it's located in the Vegas area. Plenty of brewers name their beers after references to the local culture -- e.g. the Firestone Walker guys starting a beer called 805 (the area code).

Has anyone here tried Bad Beat? It sounds pretty good, at least based on the articles I just read.

The old troll and ad hom trick of referring to some unspecified "Another". That's entering the realm of harassment which is against the forum rules in case you didn't know.

Maybe you should take some time off from the internet, cool down, and watch the news. Some show like the MSNBC TV show: "All IN with Chris Hayes"

News flash Las Vegas 2020:

Yet-to-open poker-only hotel casino project, the All Inn, wins dismissal of claims brought by the mainstream media and the world in general for trademark infringement.

The Bankruptcy Court ruled today that the term "All In" is part of the public domain, citing as evidence a thread from 2+2 published in 2018 and numerous similar nuggets of wisdom unearthed by the well-read project founder rooting around the internet:

"The Court considers a finding that a phrase can pass into the public domain, without anyone "stealing it" is so unexceptional that only NVG would devote hours of time discussing that latest truffle unearthed by an apocryphal blind pig. All claims of "stealing" are summarily dismissed."

It would seem he is, in his self-referential use of the rhetorical device of

"going off the rails", followed by a second post about "trains of thought".

To be fair, he is a bit cryptic, but I was making light of WRT's decrying a phrase moving into the pubic domain and how a potential "All INN" poker hotel casino name might benefit from this thread's highlighting the widespread use of All In generally.

wp, WRT. The guy who owned the Mirage Motel on the Strip got $1,000,000 to allow someone to use the name on a bigger project. WRT potentially has saved his Poker-Only All Inn Hotel project about 10x that amount, given how this thread has documented the move of "All in" to the public domain,

I can't be sure any more if you're leveling/trolling, or being serious. I didn't think leveling was in your game, but I assume the bread mix has to be making fun of yourself a little bit...or I should hope so.

But if this post was serious, LOL. Did she really have to specify that the "another" was right there in the OP?

No, she has had it in for me ever since the Poker themed hotel thread She believes a poker themed hotel is a terrible idea. Seems kind of strange to me that a poker player would get so bent out of shape over the idea. That thread also strongly affected Gzesh. I say that because he has alluded to that thread 3 or 4 times in other threads. An example can be seen in post 109 of this thread.

Were you annoyed or proud when they named the talks after you, Ted?

Ted, you objected to a lack of specificity in the reference to "another" instance. I thought maybe you were asking specifically for a truly stellar of "another" of your posts.

Fwiw, your poker-only hotel idea was not as out there as your vehement donkey-like refusal to accept that it was a terrible idea.

Bob, "Well Read" Ted's penchant for leveling is right there in his name.

Speaking of "All In", the TV show "All In with Chris Hayes" has a good piece on Sheldon Adelson at the 1:20 mark of this link

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrYjGBSPOXU

Adelson's check writing to the Republicans is paying big dividends and the 85 yr. old (who believes online gambling will hurt America) is now making a big push to get a gaming license in Japan and is getting Trump to push for it with the Japanese prime minister.

ROFLMAO at "had it in for" you...paranoid much? Or just upset at your lunacy having been noticed as indicia of you being looney?

Publicly using such terms as looney in 2018 is Trump-like and indicative of your class. Stay out of the threads I create. A troll wouldn't honor such a request and I doubt you will too.
