If the attack had caused a permanent brain injury, would people's opinion of it be different?
Things like illegal poker games, illegal lending and illegal enforcement methods of collecting debts should be stamped out.
HashTagKing's poker pesona and less than desirable previous behaviour is a side issue.
Your view is myopic. You see the act of potentially causing someone serious harm as being so destructive that there can be no excuse for it.
Actions have consequences and most people know and understand that. That's what helps keep society functioning. People don't step out of the bounds of what is acceptable in society only because they think it's wrong but because they don't think the potential for the consequences are worth it.
For even those that casually followed some of HTK's antics it's not hard to see how his actions could have led him to a confrontation such as the one pictured.
The guy was an ass. A lot of times to people that couldn't do anything about it without risking losing their jobs.
Some people get out of line sometimes but HTK just went asshat for an extended period of time. For the majority of us that tend to color within the lines for the most part it's hard to see him continue without any consequences.
I personally wouldn't have lost sleep if he was seriously injured or even killed.
Your opinion is different. No need to reply to everyone because they have a different point of view.
Let the rest of us enjoy this asshat getting his head bashed in and hope it prevents other people from being asshats in the future.
