Dropping 150lbs which is what it would take for him to be 10% is hardly "healthy."

He is already much healthier than his start point, so yeah it's not a great look on him, but at the end of the day it's a worse look on his brother and trainer who should've either kept on him or been more realistic and refused this bet.

Regardless, Bill is a very reasonable guy, they should buy out the bet and instead bet 1k on something realistic like 12% for Matt and 15% for Jaime.

Actually within the allotted time-frame the bet is very "Healthy".

Whilst I agree he done extremely well in the first bet, this bet he stuffed up and you can't blame either his trainer or his brother. I can assure you his brother would be doing nothing but supporting him and trying to help him, as this amount of money is LIFE CHANGING for him. It's extremely sad the bet didn't worth out, because I would love to see him healthier.

As for buying out time will tell, I hope Bill actually changes the bet instead though (to something possible at this point) - Make him go hard and become healthier, maybe throw in no smoking as an intensive.

Either way I respect both brothers, I just hope Jamie can get on-top of things and continue like he was doing in the first bet.

Yeah he needs a shrink. He emotionally eats. I do to, but I just get mad and lift /workout 6 times a week so whatever.

Man, it's really easy to hate on Jamie. I'm guilty of it too, and it's because he represents stars who have raped and pillaged the audience here. I've followed from the start, and kudos to Jamie for doing it the first time round. We got an insight into his life, which was interesting to follow and we got to know Matt.

I think Jamie should ask for a mercy buy out from Perky. Matt hits the goal and keeps his 25k, Jamie has to do something achievable but difficult to keep his. Losing has charitable or embarrassing consequences.

In a podcast with Joeingram 1 or 2 years ago Bill Perkins told that he likes to make bets so that the other person will gain more than just the betmoney (health / ambition / success / lifewise, on a personal level etc).

Regarding that I don't think Bill will let Jamie get out of this bet cheap, because the mindset for someone as Jamie will get ruined (even more) in terms of discipline and work ethics / effort to achieve something, if he lets him fail without the negeative consequences.

I'd be willing to bet perkins would've gave jaime a pass if he put in solid effort and got down to the 11-15% body fat area. Just giving up and making an emotional blackmail youtube video isnt going to earn anyones respect. All jaime had to do was exercise, buying out of a weight loss bet is pathetic.

dexa, fexa, mexa, kexa, doesn't matter. Jamie was drawing dead no matter what method they were using to measure. Jamie treated making 100k and getting down to 185 like he made it to the top of the mountain, in reality 100k/185lb (with no muscle) should be treated like a good first step in life. complacency kills.

At some point a man should choose to be healthy for himself and do it by himself, not for stream views and money. Pretending to be healthy on camera and smoking and binge eating off it is kinda fake. The real issue imo is will power which is mental health. I think that should be the big emphasis and take away for people to achieve their goals such as weight loss.

He's not giving up apparently, goes for Keto+slooow cardio from what we've seen, doesn't look like there will be any buyouts.

I mean pretty close to impossible at this point for him to get under 10% BF so I don't think he is actually putting in effort towards that, more so just trying to be healthier for himself once again. I am pretty sure he had admitted that openly already.

He should pay up on the first bet then craft a 2nd bet with a 5 month timeline that might be achievable. Otherwise he'll get 2 months into this one and see his pace and just give up.

10% body fat for in shape people is TOUGH. This guy wasn't drawing dead but close to it.
