Anyway, it doesn't make that much sense to me if for no other reason than I can't imagine him possessing something worth stealing.

Hopefully it's just gossip going around the Wynn and not fact, there is a thread about it on a training site now too from someone that was at the Wynn tonight...

Funny Eskimo Story

About four years ago maybe?...... the big mixed game in Vegas (not the Bobby's room game) moved from the Bellagio to Caesars because one of the main players at the time was barred from the Bellagio due to a non-poker related incident. Caesars had just opened its room and was courting the big action offering us no time and basically unlimited comps.

We played there for about three weeks with no incident...... we would order room service or snack food for lunch (nothing exorbitant) and then typically have Mesa Grill for dinner (as the restaurant had just opened there) the GM used to come in prior to them opening for the night and take our orders....... make a **** load in tips and drop the food off whenever he had a lull during the evening. It was a pretty sweet set up for everyone involved.

Anyway, we were playing 400-800 badugi/2-7 every day...... so the no time and comps wasnt a deal breaker, but it was a nice courtesy and everyone appreciated it....... not to mention the action was ridiculous (i recall one person winning 102k in about eight hours one day.....).

In any case, as word starting getting out the game was there and pretty crazy it started to attract some drop in traffic from time to time (not tourists, but guys like Eskimo who would play on occassion).

Sure enough Eskimo walks in one day........ and for lunch........ orders filet and lobster...... and (because thats not enough for lunch by itself, lol) trout..... but of course not just a filet of trout.... he ordered the whole fish...... eyes, fins, scales, tail...... the whole trout cooked through and stuffed.

I think his lunch came to about $200 or there-abouts....... and needless to say...... that was the day that the unlimited comps stopped......... and the first and last day that Eskimo played with us there, lol.

Ultimately, the one player who was barred was allowed to re-enter the Bellagio (ill never know how)...... and we moved back there and never played at Caesars again. It was fun while it lasted.

maybe it was from one of the people he sold a % of himself to, only they found out he sold over 100% of himself and busted on purpose. it will be a sad, sad, sad day if the world loses such a useful person as eskimo clark.

Great post contempo, I remember that one month period at Caesars where the upper level had some huge games including the badugi/2-7 game. Now that room struggles to get a 5-10nl game going. It is a shame because it used to be so well run and had tons of action
