Phil Ivey is the most popular poker player in the US. DN is more popular in Canada. Gus Hansen is some kind of a god in Denmark.

LOL SOCCERAMENTS

Soccer smashes all the other sports globally, but Lebron James and Tom Brady do okay in the US and other English speaking countries. Ivey is a giant in the poker world and a midget in the sporting world.

I'm not happy about this...
But Annie Duke = most famous poker player in the world...
Based on her exposure on "The Apprentice"...
That was a brilliant move on her part.

Thankfully, DN has methodically exposed her mirage...
Ranking her 119th out of 170 WPT regulars...
With a truly pathetic -35% ROI on her buy-ins.

And also, don't forget, she craps herself too...

Further;

Are google trends *really* that new to people?
I mean, seriously? Yeah, sure, I understand not everyone is an enormous web dork like me, but mind=kinda boggled that people who would actively post on a forum like this are completely new to Google trends. It's basically where you can go and instantly gauge the worlds interest in something. Kind of a powerful tool... surprised there are still hill-folk out there who haven't used it.

Lastly, use Google Insights, not Google Trends.

You're welcome.

Easy there, buddy. I just learned how to use Facepage AND I know how to send email. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go do some more google insights before I run out of hours on my free America Online compact disk.

About the first graph: It's also interesting how there's a peak on the end of the year on the searches for "Poker". Which is probably because people gets interested on playing Poker on their spare time (end of year vacations etc). Same happens by searching for "online poker".

There were some really interesting comparisons. I can't believe how much more popular Pokerstars search was vs Full tilt.
