So the nominees came out for the GPI global poker awards came out and some of them shouldn't even be on there and others should be on there. For instance Brad Owen isn't on poker vlogger of the year but Doug Polk is? Also Joe Ingram didn't get nominated for podcast of the year and "The Chip Race" did? All the streamers for the streamer of the year award are or were pokerstars streamers. Jason Somerville hasn't streamed on twitch in maybe years but somehow he is nominated over many people??? Pokerstars is putting forward who they want to make their company look better and its a complete slap in the face to the poker community.

Saying that "Pokerstars is putting forward who they want to make their company look better" is a highly inaccurate statement, considering there are numerous people/events associated with PartyPoker and other competitors within the poker industry who've been nominated for awards.

You may not agree with the nominations but, that doesn't necessarily equate to it having been 'rigged' to favor certain people over others like your suggesting.

Oh btw Jcarver was also nominated last year, despite having taken most of that year off. I don't think that was a PokerStars conspiracy either. I think the people who vote on this stuff never watch Twitch, so they just go with whatever name they've heard before.

Yah, I noticed this too... I think Marle's Vlog is decent but not sure she's put in the volume like Brad Owen or some of the other 1-2 / 1-3 grinders in all honesty, some of which have some pretty interesting content and decent production value.

I guess the awards want a woman in there for diversity
