What about 2+2 not revealing the multiple girah shill accounts until they were uncovered? Just as dirty as everyone else in that regard.

is this based on the assumption that they knew, but failed to reveal, or that they just didn't bother to check?

one is dirty, and the other is sloppiness (and upon first glance I dont see any requests for mods to check IP addresses in that first thread)

Good god, I could only make it through about a third of that. I am just incredulous that anyone can be so damn oblivious. He can't even remember if his overbet account has his real name on it? I guess if swapping accounts is the norm that might make sense, but then that is pretty bad in and of itself.

Reading what little I have of this whole fiasco, I am amazed there is not a huge flow of money from the high stakes arena to Nigeria.

I know JM stated in the interview that he and DIH wanted to give Girah 100K so he could spread it around and play on all the Euro sites.

My questions:

1.) If JM and DIH truly believed at the time that Jose really did win a million or more, why would Jose need a stake at all and why would they be willing to give him one.

2.) DIH in his latest personal blog states that in his last conversation with Jose that Jose says he can prove he has 600k in his bank acct. DIH asks how he can believe anything he says. Why doesn't DIH question the entire premise of the stake in the first place if he Jose can show 600k?

thac confirmed it in one of the recent threads. They have the capability of seeing what accounts have posted under whatever IP address they searched for. You would think after the Looking for PPP and I am PPP threads, they would have done a search.

It is odd after months of those arguments, they just now reveal they are the same account.

She's like batman, sacrificing herself to save the netizens of 2p2 countless hours of wasted time! We need a SGT signal to flash every time there is a new scandal; I feel so spoiled now.

I mean, this is just my personal opinion, but I think this is much ado about nothing.

I agree that 2+2 SHOULD have caught that Girah and LookingForProdigy were the same person, and maybe someone from the 2+2/modding community should respond to that.

But as for all the other accounts...

Not all mods have all functions. Unless someone sent a PM (not an NVG post - LOL that ANY mod reads every post in this forum) pointing out specific irregularities (which are obvious in hindsight with some of the new poster shilling going on), I think it's possible, with multiple busy mods maybe catching a post here or a post there, simply seeing nothing suspicious enough for them to look into it unless asked. Assuming that the NVG mods even could find all this out - I know NoahSD referenced being able to track an NVG specific post to it's IP, but for all I know that's something only one mod per forum can do.

I just don't know enough about how the modding works to state 100% they are innocent here, but given how busy they are, and how buried all this was at the time in the giant "I am Jose" thread, I think it's kind of unreasonable to expect one of them to put it all together.

Not catching the same IP for the Girah and Looking accounts seems like it should have been obvious to me, so maybe a mod would like to chime in. But catching all the accounts, unless someone sent a reasonable PM to a specific mod and was shot down...IDK, seems a little more farfetched to have expected that to me.

Daniel probably shouldn't have done an audio interview. He comes off very bad while I feel like that wouldn't be the case when it was written(or even transcripted). Nothing wrong with being a bit socially awkward, but it's kind of important for him to come across like he is being honest and has his **** together right now, and he really didn't.

It feels like hes ashamed about the truth and dont have the balls to tell it, meanwhile hes probably an honest man at heart. His answers come out like some insecure mumble in between - like a transparent lie.

yeah you can confirm it anytime, but unless there is a compelling reason to investigate, then they have no reason to check.

It's getting hard to be sympathetic for Jungleman after stuff like this:
I don't think he comprehends the level of unethical behavior he has been involved in and he tacitly sanctions it via his continued relationship/defense of Haseeb. By playing on Girahh and SamChauhan accounts he essentially committed fraud. If this were any other industry he'd be in trouble and he seems indignant that people think he's shady for doing shady things.

it is less to do with the time, and more to do with the volition. Did you report the post as suspicious when you saw it? did anyone? if not, why would a mod investigate?
