While watching one of his VOD Twitch streams from January 1st 2021, he was asked ( at the 25:07 mark ) if he thought that it was possible to beat the 500 NL Zoom 6 max pool for 5bb/100 and he states:

Possible ESPECIALLY if you pool select which can be key.

He does not do this because he is more interested in just getting the Twitch stream out but if he were to play pro, he would pool select a lot more.

His natural win rate is 2-3bb/100 in that pool.

In a good pool ( good for him to be playing in ) it can go up to 8bb/100 and he is not exaggerating.

In a bad pool ( hard for him to be playing in ) he can be -2 to -3bb/100

So he will average it all out and it makes him a +2 to +3bb/100 winner.

The particular pool that he was playing in, at the time of that specific stream, he saw himself winning on average 3-4bb/100 just based on the players in that pool and obviously, he states that he is just speculating.

Yeah, I don't think people realize how small and how much variance there are in these small zoom pools. If you're not playing at peak times you're often 4 handed. Took me a while to adjust.

I understood the $30k in costs BBZ referenced to cover the time/salaries of those working on the project, marketing fees etc. and not the figure they were going to pay Ginge. I'd assume he was on a rev share deal for the work, but was given a $5k payout at the end instead once it was pulled from sale.

small claims is limited to $10k in many states, even less in some states. Whatever they agreed upon is what should happen. $5k is a joke if $30k was agreed upon. You take this to court and gringe would easily be able to $30k, plus fees, plus interest, and maybe even some for defamation.

Unless the contract ,mentions winrates, or gringe misrepresented himself, then it seems like bbz owes $30k

for example if the contract was "bbz pays gringe $30k for a 500z video pack" then clearly bbz owes $30k

if the contract says "bbz pays $30k to gringe(a 'winning between X rates' 500z reg) for a video pack" then gringe might not be owed a thing.


it would also be hard to argue in front of a judge that gringe is a losing 500z player- gringe could argue he wins when he games selects and he is such a good player that GG poker now pay him to play. Of course these arguments can be countered but the overall look seems to benefit gringe here; bbz has buyers remorse, which most of us get.
