Not sure what I had expected as far as number of players, but the $500 first event drew almost twice as many as the $1k second event. Kinda expected Thursday would already get some kind of holiday boost, considering that a decent amount of people are off work today.

There are dozens if not hundreds of poker players who could design structures that suit WSOP's objectives better than these, half of whom would probably do it for free out of love of the game.

They should have started the events at noon PST and have better structures. After hitting the money and beyond having 20bb average stacks and chip leaders at 40bb stacks in a bracelet event sucks.

Wonder if GGPoker takes note of the negative feedback re structures and does a better job once they get going.

I'm scheduled to get to Europe on 7/18 (fingers crossed) and would like to play the first event on 7/19 if it looks appealing.

the 1k was an 8-max but prize distribution was broken down as if it were a nine-max

for instance....19-27 was a pay level.....28-36 was a pay level...

when it should have been.....25-32 a pay level...33-40 a pay level.....

i know this isn't a huge deal but it just goes to show you that on their side they just don't consult players about their site...

Sorry bud, but your logic is flawed. This absolutely was already scheduled, like it's been getting scheduled for the past 50 years. Covid happened, but all they had to do was loosely recreate the schedule online. That's not at all what happened.

Why are you talking about "throwing **** together" like it's about some 5-year-old making breakfast? The people behind WSOP are professionals whose salaries are not "thrown together" out of garbage and yet the product they came up with is.

Literally the worst tournament schedule I've ever seen, one that makes zero sense and feels more like a troll. Otherwise why would you schedule the "Championship" (literally the final event) on a Friday, and then still make it a one-day event?

Please don't defend this lazy excuse of a series. It's not charity. If we're expected to spend a good chunk of money on total ****, then you can believe we're going to complain as loudly as we can.

Double the blind length and it would drastically benefit and not make it run more than 3-4 hours longer than they already are. Have one 30 minute lunch break half way through and life is good. I have no problem sitting 12+ hours to win a bracelet.

So, I'm staying at a Ceasars Property in Las Vegas and I can't register the $400 NLHE WSOP Bracelet Event because *shocker* someone else in this casino is registered in the tournament on the same WiFi as me.

Is there any work-around to this? Or, is this really open to just one player in the entire Caesars Property?

I read that they were supposed to change that for staying at Caesars properties. Maybe they ****ed that up too.

Do you own a smartphone? Use the hotspot feature. If you don't own one you can always take a ride to the closest box store and purchase a prepaid burner with a hotspot. You only need a few gigs of data if you refrain from watching videos or browsing the web.

Thanks for the interesting work around, hopefully it helps some other Caesar's casino guests. Not what I was hoping for, though.

Fwiw, chat support told me just now Caesars properties WiFi are suppose to be "white listed". Doesn't look like that happened. They are forwarding it to the tech guy(s).

Use a different WiFi ? Does your phone allow for a hotspot connection ?
