Hellmuth is a completely out-of-his-league-with-the-poker-big-boys, largely off-putting egomaniac who recently published some nonsense self-help book/drivel about staying positive that you'd have to pay me to read. And yet for whatever reason I very much root for him to win whenever I see him playing. It's kinda bizarre.

Can anyone send a copy the structure of the nj/Vegas online wsop events? Are the structures really solid? I would assume so if the buyin is 500-1k.

I’m considering traveling from ny to nj to play some but not sure yet. Don’t want to bust a single mtt with all that travel.

$1000 bracelet tonight, 30k chips and a slightly different structure but much better overall.

Its not so much that last nights went 12 hours, pretty much the 2nd half of it, if you had average stack you had about 25bb's, which is not really good for a bracelet event.

The big 50 last year live was way better.

Also, do they have the ability to pause tournaments? Stopping for Day 2 at 4am EST or just having the FT on Day 2 would be so helpful

lol first event goes until 5:48 EST. Just so insanely unnecessary. Makes zero sense, and costing them money

ITS comical they start the mtts at 3pm. They should start in the morning and just have a long late reg with loads of play. This is all just a money grab by the wsop. How can you call it the wsop when what 48 states can’t play.

Why all the complaining? None of this was scheduled, and was all thrown together when they knew the live version wasn't going to run on time. No matter what you think, its still way better than not having these events thrown together.

I know... but it’s better to take a day off and grind and know you’ll be ready for work the next day, rather than play till 3-4am and have to call in.

Also people that live outside the state, could leave their homes within reason 8a-11a and get to NJ and play.
If the tourneys going to 6-7a out of state residents wouldn’t be working the next day anyways.

Streams were fun, but 3 PM PST start time is puzzling and fast structure increases variance, detracting from the "prestigious" feel (though no different from a live turbo/super turbo).

I don't see why the start times aren't 11 AM-noon PST, since that's pretty standard for a lot of live WSOP events in NV. When a chunk of your player pool is on the East Coast in NJ, it makes even less sense to bump it back to 3 PM PST.
