people talking about the low amount of hands or "it's only 10nl" really don't get how any of this works...
if you find a system to superuse on GG and you test it in a controlled environment, you can find ways to make soooo much more money off it later... why am i even explaining this

I check smarthand and there are many new accounts who giga crushing and play only 4k hands per month at nl500 with huge winrate.

Atleast the rake allows the site to spend more on security

If the stats are accurate these accounts aren't playing legit, anyone who's played a bit online should know these types of win rates don't happen even over a small 2k hand sample. Would be nice if we could get some hand histories

A few more at NL10:

One at NL50:

NL100:

NL1000:

80bb/100 over 5k hands may be pure variance, though.
I myself have a recent 5k hand sample where I'm running at 50bb/100.

Could this be a tracking error? Does smarthand record every hand played?

It doesn't matter, if it's only a random sample that misses some hands its just as suspicious

These might have been the accounts caught chip dumping

I think it depends how the random sample is collected. If it's collecting snapshots of an unbroken string of hands, I agree with you. If it's cherry picking "big" hands, then the winrates could easily be skewed outside the bounds of a normal sample.

My guess is it's a test run and after they feel the bot can't be detected by gg they'll implement it at higher stakes

Its pretty likely that after seeing the stories of GG getting hacked that others are now combing the site for vulnerabilities. Who knows what exploits others have found and maybe this is testing. I have this vision of an absolute shitshow of a codebase behind the scenes at GG that has a team around it which is completely out of its depth.

You are absolutely insane if you are playing on this site.

When is it finally going to be GG for GG Poker?

well we need proof these accounts are cheating first, as we have some claim with no real evidence RE: HH.

It looks like chipdumping but since it's GG it could be superusers that site is shady AF.

'Flying under the radar' with a 500bb WR doing something that could be achieved within a couple of hands at 500nl+ with no red flags? whatever i'm missing i'm still missing it

The true winrate could be 400+bb/100 and the probability is still 0.0000%.

What is it going to take to spark this to life? I thought there'd be much more noise after the moneytaker and GG's admission.

If it's chip dumping, would there also be some accounts with massive losing rates, too?

Serious question, I still don't fully have my head wrapped around how and why chip dumping operates in cash games. I assume it's done to exchange money off site for money on site, and even that's confusing to me (e.g. can you not just do a regular P2P transfer?).

Anyway, apologies for the naivete, I've truly been out of the online poker loop in the 13-plus years since Black Friday. Good spot, OP. By itself, it would not have raised many eyebrows. But add this to the list of shenanigans on GG we've seen recently, and I suddenly hear the line from Stewie on Family Guy: "oh heeeere we go."

I made a GG account just to rail their HS games. Made the acc with an old email and old password of mine that I know floats around in hacked databases.

Later got automatic alerts that people were logging into my account from Pakistan.

Pretty sure that if there had been money in my acc theyd have chip dumped it at tables to one of theirs. Easier to hide (plausable denyability etc) and successfully withdraw the funds if they are won rather than xfered by someone logged into from Pakistan I would guess. Also, my account being swedish means it doesnt even have p2p transfer rights due to regulations.

It still absurd the site doesn’t catch this. It’s possible there is another explanation on for the winnrate aside from super using, but there is no legitimate activity that generates this result. Why is the site allowing this to occur?

Number 4,13 and 17 are just insane rates for nl10. I know tiny samples, but thats just a ridiculous wr.

Regards to Zamhadi's post.

Even since the Bryn Kenney debaracle, the rake protests and superusing, there is just not a chance I would ever play here again.
