Even if I leave the table with twice as much money as them or their money, they still feel like they were the better players because they were "teaching" me. Women take your money and you feel good about it lol. Men refuse to see women as better than them, and women let men think this. Not just in poker, but in everything. Men need to feel like they are better, in control, in charge..... women let you guys think this because they know who is really in control. Lolmen
so you think that because you got winner in a game and left with more money that you are the better player??
what makes you think that men are not better at poker than women? do you think women are better or equal?
im not saying a woman can't be an excellent poker player, better than me, or anything like that. every person is an individual and we all vary. from my experience though, women are on average slightly worse players than men. it can be fairly simply summed up that in general they are not as aggressive. im not saying that I haven't played aggressive female opponents who were raising me frequently at profitable intervals. im saying they are less likely than a man to play this way.
women are calling stations. this tends to develop naturally because when a woman sits down at a poker table her male competition will try to bully, bluff, and run her over because they think they can push her around because she is a woman. this is why i would never try to bluff a woman. (you're getting called!)

What scares some in this thread, based upon the posts that were dripping with misogyny, is that an influx of females to the poker arena will knock them down the totem pole and they will again find their wallets being emptied. After all, just as some regulars went and tried to improve, so to would women coming to the game. So in the interim, those males do what they can to be a-holes and just as anti-social as possible, which, in turn, dis-incentivizes new players (some of whom would be female) from wanting to plunk down their $500 (or more) and buy in.
It amazes me how some people can go so far out of their way from wanting to grow the player pool...but then again, we also have tournament directors that actively go out of their way to avoid schedules that would actually increase THEIR total player pools.
lol because a bunch of rank amateurs playing more poker would knock them down the totem pole? they were already at the bottom of the pole anyway then.... the bolded sentence does not make any logical sense.
how are males incentivized to keep playing poker while there wallets are being drained? (thats a disincentive). are you suggesting that poker players being social and friendly is enough of an incentive to keep a loser playing(it could be)?
this whole post of yours seems paranoid. refering to "those males" a couple of times as though there are a lot of people who act that way and its some grand conspiracy of theirs to be rude to women. "those males" you are refering to don't exist outside of your head. not in the sense that you think they do at least, im sure there are a lot of jerks out there, but not every poker playing dude is a woman hating misogynist.
i try to be friendly and fun at the poker table and not make anyone feel uncomfortable. everyone should strive for that. good luck.
