My only problem is this tweet is kind of lame. If I were him I would have contacted some of the people running the various streaming games on the down low and try to secure a spot before announcing anything. He makes it seem like everybody is just salivating for him to come out of retirement and his message box is going to be flooded with offers.

Now I'm sure a lot of people would love to see him play, but that is not a universal sentiment. He may well get streams desperate for him to be on theirs, but he is going to look pretty pathetic if they don't , or if only some obscure stream will invite him.

I think he realizes the draw he'll be for views and engagement because it's such a polarizing topic with him having a good chunk of supporters and a good chunk of detractors. There's no such thing as bad press, only no press. So I'm sure he's being flooded with offers trying to get him to be on streams because whoever runs that stream is going to draw in a ton of viewers and engagement from Garretts big return to the felt.

I have no problem with those who choose not to, but the notion that the consensus is Garrett was wrong is not consistent with sentiment I have seen / heard
