You should see the amount that you withdrew, and then the balance of your account afterwards.

You then apply math.

Ahh so that is the difference then, when I bring up History I don't see any balances at any point in the list...

The History tab isn't what I'm using. I'll try to get the instructions when I'm at my home computer (where I have the FTP client installed) instead of at work.

Anyone know what to expect in terms of the documentation necessary to file a claim? Are they going to want tax files?

Retina scan, DNA verification, and a harlem shake video.

any body just not file taxes? At that time i was worse then i am now at the game and didnt know anything about poker being illegal or needing to pay taxes on it.just a recreational player trying to win a little money.I know im ignorant.but i filed this year on my winnings and i just dont wanna get busted for trying to claim my money.about 5k.I cant be the only one..I didnt even cashout barely anything over the time i played on tilt.probably under 2k.i was just trying to run up a bankroll.so hopefully theres arguement that i didnt have the money so when they give it out they can tax it then

I HIGHLY doubt they deduct any taxes at all, what does the DOJ even care they wouldn't get a cent of it, and it would just be more headaches for them

The only possible thing is they send a statement to the IRS
and whose to say if you won $4000 online and lost $10000 live so you actually have a loss for that year?

Trust me they don't give a **** about your measly thousand dollars in taxes its not even worth the IRS to chase you down

I just requested starting from when I joined - it is a huge Excel file with every money transaction ... deposits, tables joined and left, tournaments, rakeback, bonuses, etc. The $$ balance is accurate.

Regarding taxes, I would strongly recommend contacting Russ Fox for advice if you have not paid them. I'd recommend that regardless if you are owed Full Tilt money or not.

I currently work with GCG. We are handling the single biggest settlement in the history of the world (BP oil spill). I have worked for other claims administration organizations (Plaintiff Legal Committees and the like). GCG tries very hard to be professional and efficient. Relative to the alternatives, they are. But they still exhibit the kinds of problems that quasi governmental agencies have. Slow, arbitrary, etc.

The good news is that we are supposed to be a balanced arbiter for plaintiffs and defendants, but we definately side with plaintiffs virtually every time. I expect the same structural bias will exist in the remission process for the players.

Not much to add, just a thought. I have an idea of the pressures and incentives management experiences and they are not in the least bit interested in making it difficult to get your money except to the extent they can bill more to the client. They get paid by hour worked on the project. Usually in the $100 to $150 range for legal services. 2/3 that for non legal.

if i was getting paid $100/hr this **** would get finished right around the time i'm ready to retire

I am glad the PPA asked for a clarification on whether or not we will get value for fpp.

If we wait longer to get it, but we GET it, I'm quite fine with that. And at this point, it's been two years, I'm fine with waiting for them to even figure it out. And yes, the money I have on there is a significant amount to me, but I want it all if I can get it. I put the time in, I worked hard to get what I had on there. Give me what I'm owed.

You may not have wanted them to ask, or wanted to risk payouts taking longer, but I'm pretty ****ing sure you aren't the voice of the unwashed masses.
yes please.

They then pay employees around $30/hr. They have, so far at least, a very successful strategy of using temp agencies to hire recent law school grads. They treat them like independent contractors (no job protection, etc).

Extremely small core of actual employees. Owned and run by very liberal, and well connected political insiders.

Yank, can you confirm with a mod that you actually work for this company?
03-15-2013 , 08:55 PM
I certainly don't want my employer to know I am spouting off about them. But I will converse with a mod if one is interested. I am not sure if I really have a whole lot to add though.

Funny thing is, I may be precluded from filing a claim for about $3,000 I had left on Full Tilt while I am still working there.

I suspect that proof of taxes paid won't be the issue, but would be very surprised if they didn't want complete records of deposits/withdrawls/transfers. For example, once I got a check from FT that bounced. They returned the money to my account and threw me a couple of hundreds extra bucks to keep me quiet. If they were insolvent at the time, and just conjuring "bonuses" out of thin air to credit players, I could definitely see this money being ineligible for remittance, even if it's reflected as part of your "balance". I hope everyone kept good, detailed records!

Has the PPA tried to reach out to the GCG at all?
03-15-2013 , 10:49 PM
Not to reopen the points debate, but what was the going rate for FTPs anyway?

If I remember right, based on the merchandise you could buy, it was somewhere around $4/1000, give or take.
