Email Received.

But hey fellas get this, it got sent to my old email linked to the ftp account. Even though I signed up at fulltiltpokerclaims and updated a new email. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Signing up at FTP claims is no longer relevant for anything. They announced this a while back. They are just sending emails to the email addresses on the FTP accounts.

I just got a call from Jaimie at GCG and they said I didn't get an email because they flagged me as an affiliate. The only thing I ever signed up for is RB.

What did they ask you to put in the email?

Good luck on this. Please keep everyone posted on what happens.

Yeah, I think anyone who got an email is eligible for remission.

I don't think it has anything to do with RB. Other people have gotten emails and had RB accounts. It sounds like a screw up to me.

Count me among those with RB who got the email (I posted my specifics earlier this morning). FWIW, I played on FT for several years before asking for and receiving RB from RBP, in case that somehow has to do with it. All in all I probably had RB for about 12 to 18 months only before BF.

Has anyone with an AFFILIATE account (not rb, but referred other players) at ftp gotten an email?
09-17-2013 , 03:56 PM
So now I can't remember if I ever signed up to be an affiliate. I'm 100% that I never referred anyone to FTP and never received 1 penny of compensation if I was an affiliate.

This is not true. It clearly states in the e-mail that receiving the e-mail does not mean that you are eligible for remission.

Who did you get rakeback through?
09-17-2013 , 04:11 PM
I posted this in the "other" thread, but it seems pertinent here as well.

Okay, let's try to make at least one thing clear. Everybody that has an FTP account with a positive balance no matter what the source of the money originally was should file a petition for remission. If your balance is not correct when you check it on the GCG web site (beginning tomorrow) and you can prove by documentation, or in any other way, why it is not correct your petition should be for the amount you feel you lost when FTP shut down. This goes for every single account holder that does not have a settlement agreement with the DOJ that specifically names and precludes them from filing a claim. People filing should include Red Pros, rakeback affiliates, current employees, past employees, people that made deposits, people that did not make deposits, etc. It costs you nothing to file. Each petition will be reviewed and allowed or disallowed. If your petition is not allowed you will have a chance to appeal. You can then argue why you personally are an innocent victim even though you may fall into one of the categories of persons listed as not eligible for remission.

Everybody here that keeps asking the same questions over and over about their own specific situation might as well stop. Nobody here can answer you. Nobody! Hopefully there will be more information available tomorrow. I am cautiously optimistic that the balances published tomorrow will include adjustments made for almost all of the issues being raised by FTP victims in this forum. If not, and your balance is not correct, you will have to file your own petition, include all the info and proof that you have regarding your own specific balance and wait for a decision from GCG/DOJ. Each case will be decided independently, so people in the same or similar situation may well experience different outcomes, likely based on the quality of the information included in their petitions.
