So reality shows are actually scripted. I agree with Berkey and Hunt that Williams is the only person on the show that understands proper strategy. The rest remind me of nits trying desperately to ladder up

not at all a secret - this is widely reported and discussed and they even have writers credits at the end of episodes

it's real because they are really doing it though

like survivor doesn't script people's personalities nor rig winners, but they when they select people they already have a "ok we want a sassy black woman, and we want a stupid jock" and then they try to cast those people and hope they interact how intended - they are not given lines so much as "we'd really like it if you expressed your dislike for Joe instead of keeping quiet about it"

and importantly, they are largely casting super narcissistic people who are trying to become famous and will then do what they think needs to be done to get them the screentime and the ensuing fame


let's take the real housewives for example

they will tell them - you guys just can't do your regular lives, that's boring. so you need to come up with events to attend and plan - how about we have a weekly dinner with all of you and you can air out your laundry

like when they do that and there's a main cast member of the show - if she is scheduled to be filmed then she needs to beforehand work out an itinerary with the producers - if she was going to hang out with her friends who aren't part of the show then that can't happen if they want to do that, they'll need to give the info about the friends, the friends meetup with producers, the producers decide if the friend will make good television or not and if they don't think so then on that wednesday where she will be filmed, she needs to be hanging out with other approved cast members regardless of whether or not they are real friends etc

this is why there's always a big event, or they travel somewhere or do all this stuff as one tight social unit

and then they go out to eat, they don't just go out to eat, they beforehand choose a restaurant where production can easily film and clear it with management etc etc so it's all arranged beforehand, they aren't just popping in at the restaurant - but the writers may ask them to pretend like it's a spontaneous thing even though it was planned by producers and location scouts a week earlier

there's a documentary on the teens who robbed all those celebrity mansions in LA and one of them had her family cast in a reality show and it caused a lot of friction because they were repeatedly asked to act a certain way and their real friends didn't make the cut so they had to basically find "tv show friends" who the producers liked

Wow, the absolute setups and coolers this episode, and of course it's all favoring the team I dislike the most.

When I hear Charlie and Yoh Viral shouting LET'S GOOOOOO! all I can think is "please........please ****ing go, just go"

Those two clowns were the worst part of the first few episodes. I wish the editors could have just edited that out, rather than annoy the audience with these clowns acting up for camera time.

Sorry, but you guys have a really low standard for 'pretty chicks' and 'stunning' chicks. Neither of these two fall into either category. Nothing against them as they certainly are not rough on the eyes and are much better then the average mouth drooling, obese women (and men for that matter) out there that seem to make up the majority of the population in the US now (yes, this is a US based 'opinion'), but they aren't hot that's for sure. How a women looks without all that make up and work done is what determines if a women is good looking to me. I am the opposite of the other poster, I like the absolute minimum make up possible on a women. Anything more than that is a clown show to me, especially if it has any blue or red in it .

however, maria is objectively above average, especially for a a 40 year old woman she looks very good and would 100% be an upgrade over most of the partners and spouses of people commenting otherwise



her sister is objectively hot though and thus why she's put on tv so often, she's also insanely good looking if you were to only compare her to other women who are 43




while i agree that maria would slide down the rankings a bit amongst asians as she doesn't have the typical look they prefer, you're just not accepting reality and being an idiot to claim neither of those two are pretty

you can easily argue you think too much is made of maria's looks and it'd also be fair to say that you think she wears too much makeup but instead you do this all too common thing where you're such a pussy that you're afraid of looking like a "simp" so you pretend objectively attractive women are not attractive

I'm enjoying this show and I really enjoyed the team aspect. The people saying it's scripted or rigged are laughable.
